It's up now :

4812622Your argument was that Pyro should be banned because killing people doesn't take mechanical skill. Surely, any person to die to something that takes no mechanical skill is a tragedy that we must never allow to happen again, since this is an FPS, and aim is sacred, right?
yea
sagehonestly would have preffered if they spent time on that godawful MM than "fixing" the pyro -
Pyro wasnt that broken to begin with come on now. Flames had some RNG inconsistencies but at least reflecting made more sense than just holding M1
the "reach" of the flame thrower would go up to a certain point if your ping spiked and then back down again if your ping spiked again or some weird shit like that. It was fucking stupid and broken af. I'm pretty glad they fixed that shit, though the other changes made pyro worse to play against.
At least it's visually correct but it still blows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIIgr_qt8mw
If you could actually use the jetpack to surf ramps it would be so much more fun. It's such a good idea, but the skill ceiling is reached after about 2 minutes of playing, which blows.
bhop
Vulcankawadoes esea client run under WINEno it does not, the only way to get esea working is by either running it in a vm (really bad) or just switching to windows
even if it did I'd be scared of getting esea banned or something
If you set up gpu-passthrough a windows vm is ok though.
You could try something with a raspberry pi if you're into that stuff
Quertyou can disagree however you like thou, i really don't care. i'm p surre this game will be forgotten 6 months after its launch. do people even talk about reflex anymore? no they don't.
yeah but reflex is basically cpma with matchmaking.
I hope champions will be able to offer something in-between hardcore afps and fps-moba, idk we'll see.
Contraflumesomeone tries to help tf2 and we still bitch
gg
how does this event help TF2? what does it do for the scene at large? I guess it's great for the two teams who win this terrible challenge cup, but what about the rest of the participants? what about the spectators?
It shows everyone (/r/tf2) why certain things are dumb and banned and why the format is the way it is. 2000 is maybe a bit much, but some money is required or either nobody would play or nobody would actually try to abuse shit.
