Alright, so here are some of my thoughts on how we can get this video done in the most efficient way possible:
1. We need to get our hands on and sort all of the stv demos from the event. Multiplay is usually pretty good at releasing these in a timely manner and in the past people have been quick to catalog them, so I'm not too worried about this one.
2. We need to get our hands on as many pov demos as possible. Harassing players until they give you the demos is probably the only course of action here. There's a thread already for the purpose uploading demos, but you know people are going to be lazy. There are of course also frags from the lower teams during the group stages. I'm not sure if Kaneco would be interested in these, but it would pretty much be up to those players to submit their frags, I guess.
3. The camerawork was amazing when it came to spotting highlights, so I honestly think re-watching the casts and noting down the map timer of a play is more efficient than going through the demos. We'd then convert the time into ticks and go through the demo to make sure the ticks line up properly, as well as look through the killstreaks that the logs so neatly highlight (I'm pretty sure the stream missed a lot of the killstreaks in favor of airshots). I believe comp.tf links to the logs for every match, which should make things a lot more convenient.
4. I keep saying we, because I'd really like some help with all of this. I'm thinking of making a google document or something of the sort where anyone (or invites) can edit it with their observations. Crowd-sourcing is great, at least in theory.
I really believe that if we structure this properly we could have everything done in like a month or something
