bearodactylI thought you did well for the most part but during the pregame I got kinda triggered because you said "you know" like a million times. Granted, if it's your first time casting it's understandable being nervous and not knowing what to say but imo you could just take your time and talk more slowly instead of trying to keep talking and fill the space.
dunno why bearodactyl is being downvoted for this, I didn't watch the game but its genuine advice!
Whenever I find myself talking and not knowing how to articulate what I'm saying I just slow down the pace of my voice until I can properly think it through, and then more often than not I still dribble out nonsense anyway but still, sound advice none the less.
Also I enjoyed casting with you Dolly! You have a nack for it and if you properly work at it I think you can definitely be an outstanding caster. When I was starting out I did practice casts every day for a month (obviously might not be feasible if you don't have the time) but it definitely helped me out massively as well reviewing my casts after ever official game, which is something that you should never stop doing if you want to be the best you possibly can be.
inb4 patch release during grand finals of i61.
I joke I joke, nice to see some communication but I'm always a little wary when it comes to Valve balancing TF2.
glassi'd rahter watch sideshow cast from a broom closet with a ten inch monitor than watch randoms cast on stage
Watching randoms try and cast tf2 would be funny tho.
cant wait to watch gink lose

Superfuzzx3recommended settings are everything on LOW
except
textures (medium)
lighting (medium)
Why should those be on medium but the rest are on low? Truly curious because I just set everything to low immediately...
AFAIK its something to do with not utilising VRAM and causing massively long loading times.
Pretty sure B4nny has tried to get into Overwatch a few times as a streamer but didn't carry over the level of popularity he has in TF2, dunno if he was expecting to reach Seagull status or what but that ship has sailed a looooong time ago xd
b4nnyI'd like to take froyotech to i61 still. The tournament announcement came just in time for it to be feasible. We will be making the decision this week most likely, but a couple loose ends need to be tied up. You'll know when we know.
That being said, shade's sentiments in the clips above are still probably right anyways. In almost all respects, Rewind is a far superior LAN for the TF2 community (PCs provided, production provided, stage provided, free live spectating, cheap travel to LAX, etc). Because we've had nothing except Insomnia for our annual international LANs people have naturally become quite attached, but I think we would be just fine if we had to replace it with an annual international Rewind type LAN. It's kind of similar to the ESEA discussions lately, except in this case there is an actual viable alternative available. Of course, the more the merrier and the healthier our scene is if we can sustain them both, so I'm still hoping we can make them both successful.
Until ESA can front up the prizepool that Multiplay have in the past maybe hold off on the ambitions of replacing it as the go to international LAN.
