#3 Help on debugging TF2 crash in Q/A Help

Doesn't that basically put my processor to shame using only one core? And since I'm at max fps would it support it?

Will try tho, thank tou.

#1 Help on debugging TF2 crash in Q/A Help

Hey there, I am a cameraman, and cast some matches here and there. I've been having some crashes when streaming, and they always happen when:

Insecure mode, in the server, with casting config executed.

1. When the server changes map
2. Sometimes it happens randomly, but only once per map.

I have statusspec and spec tools plugins installed.

The casting config is:
http://pastebin.com/THnGKHgn

The autoexec:
http://pastebin.com/Y2pZRxxQ

The config:
http://pastebin.com/Aq2JR6zK

Are there any dumps in tf2 that I can look at? Any other info needed?

Thank you!

#60 surveillance camera man shutdown in Off Topic

So he is basically trying to bother people that are educate to them, taunting them, knowing that they can't really respond. Don't know what's worse, this or the people that think it's allright.

#3 Remove round (?) time limit on HUD in Customization

Does that mean that no one knows how to?

#1 Remove round (?) time limit on HUD in Customization

Hey there, I have a question that a quick search couldn't answer.

I want to remove from my HUD the round time limit (it's not round limit but idk how to name it).

I mean the time counter on the top mid, inside the box (does anyone even use that for anything?).

Anyways, if anyone knows how to do that, would be useful, thank you!

#82 CEVO LAN Finals @ theGXL in Events

I'd say use the modified ompHUD that tftv uses. Very simple and not as distracting as the other one. Seriously, it's horrible. Or maybe I'm not used to it since I'm euro and always watch the tftv streams and not extv.

The only problem I saw in the casting is that they were a little boring compared to the eu counterparts, but maybe that's just me.

Well, and the color filter.

Apart from that good job!

loljkPerhaps a suggestion for the next event. I know lan finals are supposed to be the ultimate test of endurance and stamina. However if at all possible, could the grand finals be the next day at a reasonable time (not 9 in the morning as with i52)?

Also, to let the eu people watch the finals. Was expecting when I got back home to be able to watch them, turns out that they didn't happen until 4+ am.

And overall, what's the motivation? Surely this has to be for-profit, how do you plan on getting the proceeds? Ads?

This is getting even worse. So...

You have a whole team (!), coding a tf2center replacement (!), offering up to 5000 (!) servers for the public, with a publicly stated "300$" anticheat program (!)(if I were as serious and professional as you and your team, I wouldn't publicly state how expensive the program was), that you've been working on this for years (!), that nobody knows anybody from you people nor you are community members (!), for free (!!!!!), with the attitude on the replies that you've had so far (!), no preview after years of development (!).

I mean, what else? Do they give you flames team captains for every 5$ you donate?

#59 TF2GAMES in The Dumpster

Honestly... I would watch out, you could see thousands of people lose their accounts soon.

And I say this because,

Someone now one knows anything about(!), comes here claiming they are a team (!) creating a massive webpage, similar to some that exist already (!), specifically states that they bought a 300$ anti cheat program to be run server side that will 100% detect (!), with 5000 gameservers possibility (!).

As paypal loves to say, it sounds too good to be true. Maybe if this were cs go or dota, but this is tf2. Also, for someone with this big of a project in hand, the proffesionality is not what you would expect.

Anyways, as someone else said, I will be watching out closely when logging in. Remember that when you logiun through steam, they don't get the password but an 'open' key, so all you need to watch out is that when you login, it's https and verified steam. (I think?)
