are you using the same mouse for each setup? if not, try doing that and you will be able to work out if its the mouse or the game that makes it feel different

me and 3 friends got 10 year bans (appealed now) for repping off the entire enemy team on a center lobby serveral times and they had over 30 unique players with several of those players being repped off more than once [*]
