I think I'd like to play next season :) At the very least, I'd like to try out to see if any team would be a really good fit. Updated OP!

there's no i in tieam :)
i love legit and you will too :D
When I upgraded to a 144hz monitor, I was getting terrible screen tearing until I changed to borderless windowed. I'm not sure if there's any added input delay, but if there is I can't perceive it.
Thanks guys! I used Arch's with some changes, he updated the link. Much appreciated :)

I've never been happy with my crosshair in TF2. This is the crosshair I use in Overwatch and I love it- is it possible to have something exactly like this in TF2? I tried to make a VTF crosshair myself but wasn't able to replicate this. If anybody can replicate this accurately in TF2 I'd gladly toss a key or two or 5 bucks on paypal your way :)
the gap in the middle is important to me, as is the black outline of the bars being relatively thin
i love legit :D
TuryI can't find the logs from the scrim but I dropped like 7-9 times in a metalworks scrim once

oh man. I think I remember this. We were no better than you, just look at me waddle around and not check for sticks
BigaSo with my thorough investigation of the newest generation in to this world, I have come up with the idea that this new generation is a lost cause.
I suppose that yes, this new generation is a lost cause- there is no chance that you will hold a positive opinion of them regardless of their actions, both individual and as a collective :)
can i try out as a bad example
Hey, good luck in getting into competitive TF2! But you will really really need a mic. You won't be able to play on any remotely worthwhile team without one. Good thing is you can get a shitty one for very very very cheap! Once you have that you'll be able to get into competitive TF2 for real.
springrollsbearodactylsolid video but not quite correct when he says "at a fundamental level, the characters in tf2 take time to switch directions" because null movement cancelling scripts exist and are so widely usedI think he means the non instantaneous movement accel that existe when going from being still to moving. Subtle in tf2 compared to cs:go but hey at least its not overwatch with no accel and aids adad crouch spam
time stamp in video where he says this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuqImZKygvw&t=641
With a null movement script, if you press A then D, you will move right. Without a null movement script, you will just stand still. It affects what your effective input is.
This is separate from the (slight) movement acceleration in TF2: when you change direction or start moving, your speed ramps up from 0 to maximum over a very small period of time. CS:GO has the same mechanic, but it is much stronger. This is different from Overwatch: , where you start out at full speed whenever you move in a new direction (except for lucio I think?)
