WithADanceNumbermy god is every plat sniper insane? or is it just the bad ones?
All snipers in HL are insane minus Paragon (as far as I know). Ego to strong :/
Yeah that includes me...
flatlinewhat the fuck is that pastebin?
is this real?
also, isn't jackal that guy who made an lft plat post out of absolutely nowhere and basically only posted a bad fragvideo as evidence he was ready for plat?
Yeah that's him.
Also shit-talked me after I defuckingstroyed his team in a scrim on Viaduct. Saying things like he usually shits on me. Was somewhat tempted to upload a video of me headshotting him 6x before he killed me.
RoodYall those reason not to pick you, thats like when u make a resume and write down "REASONS NOT TO GIVE ME A JOB: "
Trying to hide things from a job is 1 thing and another from people that you're going to spend alot of time with especially when you're going to be stressed out and most teammates end up becoming friends, so it's probably best to be upfront about some quirks you may/may not have.
TF2GamesRJI am not allowed to talk about other team members yet, that is the problem. We are currently in a "spread the word" status, which doesn't include information sharing about the team. I understand you think I can just go and say whatever I want, since this is internet, but I was very guided before I was able to join this spot.TF2GamesGetawhale Maybe you just quit while you're fairly ahead and come back to us when there's a preview? Mean this in the nicest way possible. You're just diggin' an infinite hole.I can't deny my job, sorry. If someone asks a question on the thread that is about TF2Games, and I have an ability to answer, I have to answer if I can, that is my job. Sorry if it bothers you.
If you *have* to answer questions, then answer the other ones in this thread? We would love to hear about your team. Who you are. Other stuff that we asked about!
You would be doing your job correctly then, wouldn't you? :)
When we update to the 2nd public level of this project, then stuff like information about staff, screenshots & videos is possible and when people ask for them, I'm obliged to give full answers to these questions.
Who's financing this? This is starting to sound like a whole lot more than "just a bunch of free lance coders" obviously if their's individuals who are working on this that don't play TF2 they have to be receiving some form of compensation cause it's not because they love this game.
add a ranked match making system to it if you really want it to take off
Alright have you tried checking in your Video Driver Control Panel? VSync may have been set there.
CheeseMan_Well basically, I've been playing tf2 for 2 years. I've used chris' maxframes, use no hats/particles, lowered resolution, mat_viewportscale 0.5, and more. I've been able to play the game smoothly at a constant max of 132 fps. (Had my fps_max at that). Now for the last like 2 months or so, my fps goes from that 132, to 70 for no reason. This causes audio and mouse stuttering. Is anyone else having this issue at all? I've tried switching fps config (currently using Cowmanglia's cfg), reinstalling the game, tried using fps_max 0 instead. No difference. I can literally be staring at a wall in spawn and from the 250 fps, it goes to 70. The drops occur about every 5 seconds and it really annoys me. This has literally quite ruined the game for me and makes me not want to play anymore. The weird thing though is it may not drop at first but about like 1 minute or so in my game, it starts happening and will never end. If anyone is also experiencing this or knows how to fix this that'd be great.
What kind of system are you on?
Laptop or Dekstop?
Cause honestly this sounds alot like your CPU overheating (I used to have this issue when I played on a laptop)
If it's a Desktop, go get a can of compressed air, unplug your pc take it outside, take the side off and spray it our with the compress air, especially the CPU fan and heatsink.
If it's a laptop consider buying a laptop cooling pad.
MasterKunihttp://www.forbes.com/sites/ccap/2014/10/03/there-is-not-such-thing-as-a-free-college-education/
ForbesAccording to the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Germany has the second highest income tax burden of all OECD’s 34 countries. Of course this is not surprising considering Germany is the father of “Sozialstaat” or in English “Social State” founded in 1870 under Then Chancellor Bismarck’s reforms.
Government cannot make anything "cheaper", it just hides costs by socializing them across a populace.
I'd honestly rather pay 50% income tax for Free Education, Healthcare, Roads and all the normal shit governments do than pay 25% income tax and go into debt for 20+ years for education or healthcare let alone both.
Foxjust posting my insight because of the two guys arguing that college is a complete waste of time and money itt lol
I didn't say it was a complete waste of time, I inferred that College costs FAR to much for what you actually get with the exception of Trade/Community Colleges. This is especially true for anyone in the IT industry were specific certifications and job experience are 100x as important as a bachelors degree. Yes you can get those certification at college but for 4-8x the cost.
GetawhaleThere is an issue with overqualification among new job seekers but I think that's probably way off course from this thread.
(If you Google it, you will find TONS of articles and reports on this.)
My point was that given current tuition and your likely hood of getting a job in the US after graduating college their's almost no point in going unless it's community college or you really like going.
