WhiskerPumYeah, I think this is mainly to prevent bots from leaving and then rejoining the same server when a votekick is called on themConsole-Valve
I dont see any harm, it only applies if the vote recipient leaves. So if the vote is against a player and the player leaves it doesnt do anything new since the player left anyways. And if the player doesnt leave until the vote is done then its as it was before
My bad misread, did not see it was only for players who had already dc'd
Valve- Updated the vote kick process to automatically vote Yes for anyone who hasn't already voted if the target for the vote leaves the server
I get the point of this is to be able to make initiating votekicks on idiots easier but isnt this hella abusable by anyone who just randomly initiates a kick? I get it can be frustrating to not kick a cheater b/c of teammates just not voting but this seems questionable.
if you're looking for places to play and meet some players to buddy up with, newbie mixes are a great pickup game group for inexperienced players to learn the game and meet some friendly faces around the same experience level. There has also recently been developments in the general PUG scene, as there's now a central hub for all things TF2 PUG related, pug.tf.
Edit: Those resources are mainly used by the NA community though, perhaps someone from the SEA community can hop in this thread and throw some pug group links and resources for you
bump if anyone needs someone b4 roster lock
will play anything in main, scout/demo IM
tojobut if Ur not keen on getting yours in person I’m sure E-bay is fine or whatever
only real problem is sometimes ebay can be a gamble when it comes to how used/dilapidated controllers are; have had good luck with picking up used gc controllers online but YMMV; if you can manage it in-person is better if you're particular about getting a quality used controller
bleghfarechey you know what i've never really spoken much publicly about? the dumpster.
you know, that thing where a lot of tftv posts go? it's probably good to talk about.
the dumpster is awful, and has to be weird. just like, ignore it, it's a trash heap. shitposts and all that
ok bye!
