As much as some people wouldn't really like OW to be successful I'm glad Seagull got picked up by Luminosity and is pulling 20k viewers. The dude deserves recognition for how talented he is at practically and game he picks up.

OW is a terrible spectator sport from watching some tournaments
If people thought TF2 was bad then they really will not be able to watch OW. If the camera isnt in 3rd person you just have no idea whats happening because of the amalgamation of colors on your screen.

astrin_do you guys usually play with your keyboard, a controller (xbox, ps3, etc), or the kind of controller that the game is for (eg. gamecube cont. for gamecube games)?
You don't necessarily need the controller it's meant for but it helps.
For ePSXe I use my Xbox 360 controller and all you have to do is set it to that in the client.

for ps1 or ps2? i'd highly recommend pcsx2 for ps2. if it's anything like the ps2 itself, you should be able to play ps1 games on it just fine, but i don't remember the emulator i used when i played FFT again. but yeah, coolroms and emuparadise never let me down.
ePSXe only works for PS1
I also recommend PCSX2 for PS2 games, but be aware you have to BIOS dump your ps2 to get PCSX2 to work
there are tutorials on how to do that

New OW animated short

kirbyI don't understand the problem. They're animated shorts to give some background/lore to the classes. A strictly multiplayer game might not need that, but when it's given, cliche or not, it manages to become a problem because it is visually cartoony and not drowning in humor and somehow that's wrong.
I assume someone's going to reply with the statement that visually cartoony games should come fully equipped with a ton of humor and that there is no alternative, but fuck it. While this short does come with cliche, the shorts as a whole have been still pretty good as far as storytelling is concerned.
The problem some people have is if you want people to really get into the lore the dialog shouldn't be shallow and cheesy.
