Are any of the new maps any good? I've only tried resort so far, and I hated it.

The cars feels really good in this game. You can actually drive them, unlike gta4 where the steering felt like large boats. There is also cats, which is a big plus.

WARHURYEAHwhat are the differences with ranked matchmaking though?
In my experience ranked matchmaking has been 100% looking for a match, but you're supposed to be matched up with people in your rank. I think the matches are supposed to be 5v5 and you'll get a penalty for leaving. Most matches in the previous beta was ruined by people rage quitting early so the rest of the match was a 3v5 stomp. I guess we'll see when more people reach lvl 7. Getting there might take a while if you have a life.

Servers are up! Time to start back at lvl 1 again. Now they've made it so that you'll have to be lvl 7 or higher to be able to play the competitive mode. Until then, there's grinding levels with noobies in casual. There is also a special obsidian loadout card for those who played in the earlier betas with 100% chance of getting a card for a class that you do not like playing.

They get loads of cash from selling the show to other channels.

alfaThe closed beta is pretty great, except I wish they would have Competitive matchmaking enabled more. Pub stomping tends to get really boring.
Huh.. I've only been able to play the competitive matchmaking (and stopwatch). Anything else is grayed out for me.
