Now, with this speed I feel like I should be able to stream at a decent quality.

But, when I run the setup wizard on XSplit it tells me my upload speed is only 2,000 KBPS or so. It will initially start at 5Mbps but it drops and stays at around 2. I feel as if XSplit isn't getting the right connection, anyone else have the issue/know why?

Anyone know any decent FTP servers I can use for free? Thanks!

Alright so just the other day I wen't to play some TF2 and noticed my FPS was stuck at 74. Before it was fluctuating between 700-900FPS (I didn't cap it) but used MaxFrames configs. Now I try and play and only get 74. I have removed MaxFrames, and any other configs and I am still stuck at 74FPS. I have attempted the commands fps_max and cl_updaterate.

Any help? :(

Anyone know of any software that will show up while full screened if recording?

So I've recently started streaming when I got a new internet and my frames aren't being dropped but in TF2 every once in awhile I will get a horrible sound stutter, but not frames. It's rather annoying, anyone know what would cause this?

Encoding Settings:
Quality Balance = 7
Max Bitrate = 3000
Custom Buffer Size = 2250
Audio Codec = AAC
Bitrate = 96
Format = 44.1 (Tried it on 48 as well)

This doesn't happen when playing TF2 w/o a stream though. Also, you can't hear it on the stream, somehow on the stream it comes out smooth lol

Alright, but according to PassMark the AMD ranks at 52 and the i5 ranks at 113, so doesn't that mean the AMD is better?

So I had a couple questions about an upgrade.

Current tower/specs.

Tower

8 GB Ram

Gtx 550 Ti 1GB DDR5

AMD A6-3620 2.20GHZ

I am wanting to upgrade just my processor atm but am under the understanding that in order to make a noticeable difference I will need to get a new motherboard to accompany the processor.

For this, I have two questions.

A: Are motherboards universal to towers, is it a one size fits all?

B: If so, which of these two should I get?

Link 1 is an i5, which is not the newest but is certainly an upgrade, but why is it more than a 4.0GHZ processor by almost $100?

Next time I will do a 2v2 MGE Tournament. But for now I am starting to setup for another 1v1 tournament.
