I feel like they wanted to make the series finale as epic as possible. I personally feel the giant mech is pretty far-fetched and I dislike it. But I can see the writers wanting one last epic fight.

For anyone complaining about UGC 6s: According to this forum thread there IS a 6s admin position available. So if you think you know how/want to change UGC for better, here's your chance.

Everyone needs to stop stacking lobbies, stop screaming at the 0 lobby/500 hour medic for making your 30 minute experience worse.

How can we expect numbers to grow if people keep leaving the scene and we are ridiculing people for even ATTEMPTING to get into competitive?

I heavily go on /r/truetf2 and the amount of posts/comments made weekly about trying competitive after seeing a stream/video and getting shot down is ridiculous. The ONLY way this game can keep going is to have a great place for new players to join.

Events like the highlander open, EVL battle royale, etc, are things we should strive to have more of. Newbie mixes are great, I understand it's hard, but we have to put in the effort if we want this game to keep going.

The least anyone can do if you don't want to coach/advertise about comp. TF2 is not have a shitty attitude when it comes to new players in lobbies.

It's not like b4nny is the sole reason that team is so dominant. Every player on that team performs well. Replacing b4nny with a scout with invite DM will weaken the team but I still think they'd win lan.

On the whole "TF2 profession" thing. The guy is young, finished with college, and is enjoying himself. If he still finds the game fun, he should do him. If it's not about the money, it's not about the money.

3400 viewers and we have an ambassador spy to mid on LAN grand finals. Maybe some spy pubbers will try comp. TF2 "because I saw someone use it to mid at LAN"

It'll be tough for them to beat Admirable and Bl4nk though. They're both top-level players who were both enthusiastic/knowledgable during the cast.

Will be interesting to watch how they cast this.
