#4 Sideshow on the Richard Lewis Show in Off Topic

Josh and Bren absolutely crushed it in OWL, fantastically entertaining and i'm hyped for them to get more exposure and more oppertunity with VALORANT. Huge props to them both.

#14 Overwatch 2 Beta sign up in Other Games
BrockHope valve just makes a real tf2 update in their pajamas at home and pushes it out right when this releases just to troll blizzard.

I wouldn't even be excited about OW2 if something like TF3 was on the way.

#3 Overwatch 2 Beta sign up in Other Games
Richarrrrdsomehow i doubt a glossy relaunch with next-gen mvm is going to fix overwatch's core problems lol

Truue, i'm pretttty gassed up on hopium for this launch. Blizzard seems to like OW as much as valve likes TF2. We've been in a lack of balance updates and lack of content for a while now. Feels like every game I fall in love with gets abandonded by the devs. That said, I actually think overwatch at its core is a fantastic game, but only when its in a good balance state. Unfortunately blizzard has no clue what they are doing in that regard.

#12 warm up routine in TF2 General Discussion

warm up shouldn't take too long and should be different from actual drills/practice IMO. you don't want to over do it. Personally I would just play SOAP until I felt like i was hitting shots.

#1 Overwatch 2 Beta sign up in Other Games

Just wanted to spread awareness that OW 2 beta launch signup is available on playoverwatch.com.

If you hadn't tried out Overwatch since 2016 and OW1 launch, I highly recommend checking it out! Lots of stuff has changed including a lot of heros that have some amazing movement and technical skill needed. The format is also changing to 5v5 with 1 tank, 2 dps, 2 support. I'd be happy to play some pugs or matchmaking with people in beta if anyone might be interested in learning the game.

#26 elden ring in Other Games

So still hopelessly hooked on this game. I think i'm getting pretty close to the endgame now.

Show Content
Currently trying to kill the fire giant

What was the boss that gave you the most trouble in the game?

So far for me it's been

Show Content
Margit, Godrick (grafted), and Radahn

.

Started adding a bit of casting to my str build and holy shit magic is OP. I first try cleared several bosses after getting rock throw.

#18 elden ring in Other Games

Elden ring is my first souls game (aside from like 5 hours of 3). It's been fantastic so far. Playing a str/end build tanking hits like a freak and swiging a big stick. Both Margit and Godrick took way too many tries to kill and way too many hours. But I did it and it was super satisfying. I finally GET why people love souls games.

#8 1 in-game 1600 DPI in TF2 General Discussion

Try a high sens, try a low sens, decide what you like better, proceed to not give a shit what other players sensitivities are because that won't make you a better player.

#15 how do you get better at reflects in TF2 General Discussion

Same way you predict rockets to surf as medic or dodge as scout. Just practice until you get a feel for the timing. Once you are at a high level you may need to worry about players who can mix up their timings as well, but for the most part people try to get damage out as quickly as possible and you should be able to read most players. The other major thing would be your positioning, at max flamethrower range a deflect is far easier than say at point blank.

#312 The Mouse/Mousepad Thread v2 in Hardware

Any rec's for a wireless mouse with a similar shape to the g305/original gpro. Not a fan of the big humpback style of the gpro wireless. Looking for light weight, small size, rechargable battery.

Top candidate so far is glorious model o wireless or Razer Viper Ultimate

#361 TF.TV WHIPS, what do you drive? in Off Topic

Bought yesterday, 2021 Nissan Kicks SR. A slight downsize from my 2014 Rogue, but it's honestly been amazing so far. Very happy with it :)

#4 Pokemon: Legends Arceus in Other Games

Been playing it since the 19th on my modded switch. It's been really fun so far. My first pokemon game since Pokemon Red since the other ones I got bored of in the first 3 hours.. This one I think i'm around 15 or so into and it's been a blast! GameFreak needs to lean into actual change in their games imo, keep the franchise core things, (catching, battling, exploring.) but change up the actual inbetween gameplay and keep things fresh.

Big agree about the music. I was just chilling cleaning my room while listening to the towns theme music. Very good stuff.
