dont want people to jump to any conclusions here, I've spoken with virgil about it and she relayed to me that they knew and intentionally delayed using on last because of it. She mentioned that the uber for them SHOULD have ended 18:04 on the match timer and we pushed in at 17:14, so realistically it was LIKELY they'd have had. either way we got rolled so it doesn't matter all too much and none of us care about a round overturn or something like that. for me personally i still think we had ad, but idk they handled it as best they could and i suppose i commend them at least for not being cringe and just using onto us on second

dont focus on your stats so much, especially starting out (bad habit forming). there are lots of resources here and on yt of stream vods of the best soldiers, whether that be on their respective yt channels or channels like officerreekz and fresher+cleaner
if you really want to see the biggest improvements, playing on an actual team to learn the fundamentals with others helps a ton. if you have watched comp tf2 streams before, I'm sure you know about RGL and/or ETF2L (not sure about your region). I'm sure other people on here can fill in the gaps on what I've missed in this post, but I think this covers a good portion of the point.
also don't sweat being a noob too much since we all were at one point.
tibby has a really good mindset and would be a strong contributor to any team's improvement
from the invite tryouts I had with him in the preseason of s6, he always came to scrims with a good attitude no matter how hard we were about to get/got rolled. he had some iffy moments, but overall I would say he's capable of pulling his own weight in invite. he, as others have mentioned, is really open to criticism. always seemed to be asking what he could do better or if the play he made was wrong. i think based solely off his motivation to improve, he has a good shot of doing well later down the line in invite.
has never gotten mad, goat dm
A very good drive to improve and I'm impressed with how quickly he does so. As it stands, he is definitely capable of adv and playoffs within a season.
rick kill my team, so lft:
med in invite
scout/soldier adv
willing to sub
Puts effort in during and outside of scrims. Strong comms and solid mechanics and I don't think I've seen him tilt or even get slightly mad from the whole season I played with him.
