ddrsensationI've been waiting for this to go on sale for ages, and I only figured out about this deal minutes AFTER I purchased the Ninox Aurora, so hopefully I made a good choice. :V
I don't see where you went wrong; the ninox is a better mouse lol

good headphones, just some of them (600/650/700/800) are very source dependent.
I use dt880 prem's, but pretty much anything DT880/990 will work from beyerdynamic. Just shy away from the pros; they have extra clamping force. I use DT880s. Great w/my glasses.
Stochast1cFreestateSomeone should try him out and see how good he actually is instead of assuming he should be in ugc. Who knows, maybe he can kick it in open.
Seriously, if somebody is going to dedicate what seems to be at least eight hours a day to tf2, with the right direction they are probably going to be one of the best players in open, if not tf2, by the end of the season.

brownymasterI have the VG248QE, lightboost makes some games so much darker I have to use gamma ramp. I've since stuck to 144Hz instead of 120Hz lightboost. If the colors are better (I like my old Samsung monitor's colors much better than the VG248QE) then I'd say it's not a bad deal.
I mean gamma ramps aren't always a bad thing. If they're not sticking in fullscreen, use this: http://goebish.free.fr/cpk/
where's hooli when u need him
FlappyGot the lower end model of this myself, the G2490FQ, and it's alright. The colours are decent and it works fine.
The only problem I've really had is that it only works in 144hz on displayport, not over DVI Dual Link. Not sure how common of a problem it is, could just be a one-off problem with this unit.
I'd recommend it, but with the smaller difference in price with other 144hz screens in the US than in the UK (This monitor cost me about £180, the Asus VG248QE is about £250), you might be better off spending a little more to get the option of stuff like lightboost.
I'm pretty sure I remember reading that dual link DVI can't handle 144Hz @ 1920x1080. Pretty sure that's just a technical limitation of DVI itself. Shouldn't be an issue though; most people who are using 144Hz monitors should probably have gpus that support displayport.
i just want my frames back
You just have to mess with the monitor timings. I suggest CRU/using the nvidia control panel to do it. http://www.monitortests.com/cru-1.1.2.zip
And about HDMI not being the "best option", that's true. I mean, it won't really bottleneck you here; I was able to get my planar sa2311w running @ 120Hz via HDMI 1.3 with custom timings I made (Laptop only has 1 thunderbolt port, so I can't run both monitors @ 120hz unless I do this).
Overall, you're limited by your monitor, so don't go crazy once you get 75Hz @ native lol
You can check the list of supported resolutions for your monitor. 1024x768 is probably the highest supported resolution @ 75Hz for your monitor.
Axiomatic_TF2turtsmcgurtsAxiomatic_TF2Ask literally any fucking person other than mustard and the team
just don't ask anyone who will say otherwise and everyone else will say i'm super cool!
I can think of three people from the team that I played with mustard on who would say probably bad things. Other than those three, every other team would agree I'm a good guy overall. Which would be about 5 teams I think. So the ratio would be about 46/3 if you were to actually ask all of them.
holy fuck just stop posting rofl
go back to the ugc forums
probs not much you can do about it other than complain to IT, but since it's a uni, they're not that likely to do anything as long as you can load a webpage
