A lot of people have seen large decreases in FPS recently for seemingly unexplainable reasons other than lots of new items, could you're having a problem with that. Reinstalling everything isn't likely to have much of an effect. Are you using an FPS config?
Also how much RAM does your laptop have, 54% usage given those numbers seems a bit high.

TerraStimpackThe GTX 660 is roughly the NVIDIA equivalent of my graphics card, so you should expect similar results (I think). For your build, consult one of the pcpartpicker wizards here, they probably know a lot more than I do.After doing some research, I've found that a 660 would really save me only ~$30 over the 760, so I might as well just go with the 760...
I'm also considering forgoing the Lightboost thing and just choosing one of the new AMD R9 cards. How much does Lightboost really do? I've heard mixed reviews. Looking at this makes it seem pretty amazing, though.
Lightboost is pretty damn awesome. However, Nvidia has released g-sync which will force your monitor to refresh when it receives frames from the GPU which is the only thing to currently consider when looking at monitor/graphics cards upgrades. AMD's Mantle looks promising sure, but g-sync will finally make your monitor work as it should do. It's highly likely that g-sync will only work with Nvidia GPUS (and only GTX650 and above) so I wouldn't buy an R9 tier GPU at the moment, especially considering their prices are very inflated at the moment due to massive demand from bitcoin mining.
Planning a build for i52, just seen the Asrock M8 and I'm very tempted. Comes with case, motherboard and a PSU.
Asrock M8: £465
Intel i5 4670 (non-k): £165
Noctua NH-L9i: £35
2x4GB Corsair Vengeance SO-DIMM: £70
250GB Samsung 840 EVO: £150
EVGA GTX760 SC (Blower style): £200
Total: £1130
Expensive for a 4670+gtx760 system with only 250GB of storage (I spent the same on my 3570k cooled by h100i + 7970 system) but for something that will only be used at LANs, for the show-off factor I think it's quite reasonable and I won't exactly be stretched for cash.
My other options are the Fractal Design Node 304, in which case I'd need a motherboard and PSU
Fractal Design Node 304: £60
MSI Z87i GAMING AC: £130
Seasonic G550: £75
Parts from before
250GB Samsung 840 EVO: £150
EVGA GTX760 SC (Blower style): £200
Since I can now get a better CPU cooler and I have better airflow overall I can make some more changes (better CPU,better CPU cooler and normal DDR3 RAM)
Intel i5 4670k: £170
Noctua NH-U12S: £50
2x4gb Corsair Vengeance: £65
New total: £900
~£230 saving is quite significant and actually probably enough to turn me off the M8. The third option is the upcoming Corsair Obsidian mITX case, but this will likely be more expensive and I doubt the design of the case will match what I want from the case.
I've seen Slin do 34 hours and that wasn't his longest
Pretty sure they're power delivery components and I'd be pretty sure the graphics card wouldn't work at all, and if it did you'd likely be in for some sort of electrical fuck up.
BubbaDavidTheWinDo you have the page file size reduced and have you disabled hibernation? The page file size is quite large and hibernation creates a hidden file called hiberfil.sys that defaults to 75% of the size of your RAM. Won't necessarily help with this odd issue of random space going missing but they're good for general SSD maintenance.yea i have a hiberfile.sys thats like 6.5gb big.
im also considering just buying a decent 500GB SSD and replacing mine..
I'd go for the WD Black Squared drive, it's got a 120gb SSD and a 1tb HDD inside one 9mm thick drive

You will want to check that your laptop has enough space for a 9mm tall drive because some don't, but this will be a cheaper and probably better option than a 500gb SSD. I'd disable hibernation if I were you for now though, it would get you 6.5gb of space back. Googling it has plenty of instructions, and try running WinDirStat to check it was actually removed.

Alfiethe airshots stat won't be as good as you think it is. killing someone after they did a normal space bar jump counts as an airshot, not very impressive
yeah but then you can just act like you hit a million airshots and look cooler

I like it (Kill-A-Watt Brotherhood of Arms and SF FaN)
I don't think it's even a matter of what you're used to. logs.tf is objectively cleaner, there is much less going on around the numbers in terms of table dividers and there is more space between each cell of the table and unimportant stats are greyed out. I suppose you could say SS has a clearer and larger font but that's about it.
reillyI far prefer the appearance of ss, mostly because it's cleaner and I don't really care about all the extra stats. However, having all those crazy stats are really cool for those who care about them.
is not cleaner than
Most recently, we upgraded our Amsterdam point of presence (POP), increasing its capacity by 200%. Also, in an effort to provide better coverage for our European users, we recently completed a new POP in Prague, CZ. Our Prague POP will be open to broadcasting very soon, possibly as soon as Saturday!
Does providing better coverage for Europe mean making it almost universally worse? I have 8mb/s down in the UK and I was lagging on "Low" on several streams. I know one guy in Estonia with 50/50 fibre and he couldn't watch any streams at all since last weekend.
