The problem with decaying charge in dropped mediguns is that it becomes impossible to count ubers because you can't know if they picked up your gun and if they did, how much charge it had left. Uber counting becomes complete guesswork.

YodoThat's why big LANs should not be hosted in countries with anal visa rules. Same problems were with visas for DOTA international but Valve is american company so they asked senator to help with it and it was resolved(also they care much more about dota). I think UK is one of the hardest EU country to get visa for. Host it in Germany or Lithuania (they already do some LANs anyway) and not only it would be easier to get a visa it would also reduce a travel/stay cost by a lot for most of the EU players.
OK, we'll very nicely ask the uk based multiplay to move their uk based lan attended by 5000+ uk residents to a country on the mainland.

Back in the vanilla days the dozen people was 10% of our viewers. If we had similar numbers today that might be 40 to 100 viewers which is a significant number. Mumble capacity is also an issue at that point and when we have the teams in the mumble a mumble ddos is much worse because it does just ruin the cast it affects the outcome of the game.
I guarantee you I can give you a more entertaining camera perspective than you can do yourself. The only thing you could do that I can't is stick the camera on the one player you want a pov of for the whole game. That and having shit Internet are the only justifications imo and those aren't enough to warrant opening the mumble.
On a purely personal level, when we put so much effort into providing one of the best produced streams in esports it's disappointing when people would rather just watch the stv.
