SideshowIf you're hitting every double donk it isn't random. Don't argue two mutually exclusive things.
You can get random lucky double donks, and some people that's all they do. But in order for it to be better than pipes you have to actually have very good timing with it.
It doesn't require good aim though, which imo is the biggest problem. It needs a reduction in projectile size so you have to be precise like pipes.
Fair enough. I do feel like the angle at which it sends people flying away does add randomness to the double donks, but maybe that's just me and I'm just not good enough with it.
Yeah, I agree it should be banned, but you're not really giving any good arguments except MAYBE 'Takes no skill'
It should be banned because:
- Can completely deny an uber by just clicking at a choke from the right distance
- Can one shot a medic around a corner (141 damage + fall damage)
- Sends people flying away
- Double donks are too random for a competitive game (debatable)
liasI'm a demo main, and have 0 problem with the loose cannon and almost never use it, because it's only really powerful situationally. Pipes are better in almost every situation. In my opinion the loose cannon is only worth it on defense or occasionally on a stalematey game. Also saying that it takes no skill is silly, you have twice as much to think about, aiming and timing as opposed to just one.
When you think about it, if you hit every double donk, it's a better weapon in a lot of situations. A lot of maps have chokes that feel like they've been made for the loose cannon, and double donking is really not that hard; if you practice with it for a few hours you get the hang of it pretty fast. I feel like it's also way too good to get scouts/soldiers away from you because it can just send them flying although only dealing 60 damage or so if you don't double donk them.
