Would something like this be cool on a shirt?
brownymasterWhy is tuner out when Wii U has the tablet?
Seems perfect for using the tuner.
Supposedly it was because they said that it didn't add anything to the game, and instead made it easier. That's what they believed at least, and with hero mode, tingle tuner would've been knocked out anyways.
Tingle Tuner was only rarely used for speed runs anyways, and maybe detracted 5 minutes from the run.
ALSO, the Wii U gamepad is instead used in a much better IMO way. Which is a map that is always viewable, and you can go to any map on the great sea and sea charts to view it without having to pause. This gives you something to do while sailing(with the swift sail, even quicker now).
Just thought I'd put this launch trailer up, pretty fucking awesome.

Also it comes out tonight, technically tommorow at 12:00.
"Hey guys, look at this idiot here spilling shit in his car and trying to be funny!"
grcAccording to Cosmo, there are 3 ZH that are taken out of the run.
1) Outside Dragon Roost. (Used to get to the mail place very fast compared to going up.)
2) Inside Cavern. (Used to skip directly to the uppermost level of the temple.)
3) Inside Wind Temple (not sure where this is)
Also I forgot to mention, without tuner the Wind's Requiem song cut scene skip is taken out.
I don't really know how much the triforce quest streamline would save, but if it's a good amount it might be faster. Also how you get super fast sail could save/waste time overall.
You're totally right about the zombie hovers though, but the Wind Temple currently does not have a single Zombie Hover in it. It instead uses a chest glitch to let you walk through walls and to get to hookshot super quick and to the boss without Makar.
You don't need tuner to do the Wind's Requiem skip, I'm pretty sure you can skip it with dry storage as seen Here.
So really, the only difference in Wind Waker HD, is the fact that you NEED delivery bag, and you actually have to beat Dragon Roost Cavern. That might add 3-5 minutes to the time, and I'm 100% sure the triforce quest saves more than 5 minutes.
grcDeepbrownymasterThe question is will they leave all the glitches for Cosmo to exploit, or will we have to keep watching him stream the original WW.
I answered it already, the glitches are there to stay.
The thing is, the Tingle Tuner is not present, so Zombie Hovers are going to be out (except for Helmrock king ZH) and also when you use tingle balloon when getting to the Forbidden Woods Temple (not as important).
So overall it's slower atm.
But you're forgetting about the streamlined triforce quest and the swift sail! Superswims stay in, and the only time Zombie Hover is REALLY used is in dragon roost, I'm sure the streamlined quest, and swift sail combined will offset the fact that he actually has to finish that dungeon that time.
Pot, you just don't have voice acting in a Zelda game, it's always been like that, it changes the feel of the game and it doesn't play like Zelda anymore. The most voice acting Link has ever received was in Wind Waker, he got ONE line "Come on!".
It's supposed to be a remake, but it's not supposed to be a new game.

Muertebrahcan't wait for cosmo to stream itGotta get dat any% WR o__o
Talking of which...you reckon they've patched some of the 'glitches' and shit used by speedrunners in this HD version?
They have not patched them.
potIt would be cool if they added/updated dungeons, (god forbid they actually have some voice acting in one of their games) but if it's a prettier version of literally the same game for $60 then fuck you nintendo
Voice acting in a Zelda game, what...
It's $50, and it includes completely re-done textures, lighting, music, streamlined the triforce quest and made it NOT annoying, completely different controls, new items, and a good amount more things. I'd say it's worth it.
EggplantAre there any major differances in the HD version over the original, besides the increased resolution? (bigger draw distance or something, for example)
The draw distance IS bigger, they load the entire Great Sea into the ram at the same time in this one, so yeah the draw distance is waay bigger.
The changes that I put, and off-tv play are awesome.
chojjeI'm so pissed that you won't get a game disc with the limited edition console - I might get that one anyways because of the swag controller.
I'm pretty sure you can wait two extra weeks and get the limited edition console with the game disk.
Anyone else excited for this? Digital version plus the special edition Wii U releases on Friday. I'm going to buy the digital version and sell my statue limited edition.

This was my childhood game, can't wait for it to come out.
Why not make registration twice as short next time so you can just extend that one and have the season start where it should?
This is a perfect example of why the meta is the way it is.
Ramown, your best bet is to buy mann co keys from the steam market and sell them through paypal to someone who wants on sourceOP.
Why not build your PC with Win8?
