It takes four consecutive ffls to automatically mark a team as dead. That's a lot of unplayed matches, especially when lots of teams die. UGC has a feature where teams can drop themselves from the season so that they immediately won't get scheduled anymore. Why doesn't ESEA?

I'm pretty sure gameservers uses linux as well.

A ton of server plugins are broken since the last update. A lot of them are obvsly pretty standard for comp. Some folks seem to have their stuff back up and running, and I wanted to see what the fix was.

On my server, at least the following appear to be broken:
LogsTF (+ MedicStats and SupStats2)
RecordSTV
Soap DM

What makes a good demoman?

1. a bad demoman wouldn't be sitting here discussing it with you, now would he?

but really from what I've seen from demos on my team, one of the most crucial things is self-preservation in terms of positioning and willingness to jump out when things go south, even if you've missed everything and feel shitty. Dm is important but is kind of secondary to that since, next to the med, you are the most important person on your team to have alive for defending.

Niiice! It's a great alternative to having everyone spacing out in the server and not seeing the big picture while discussing different holds. :3

We need backups, especially for demo since our dude is having major computer problems, but really for everything. You must be able to play at a high open level at a minimum so that you can keep up throughout the season without as much practice. If you don't have a team and can do that on multiple classes, welcome home, buddy!

Highlight of my summer was hanging with a friend and randomly stumbling across a game of D&D that needed two more players. We hadn't seen each other for like two years and ended up role playing with random strangers & beer. Quality.
