I'm not hating on Uberchain here, even though people lacking basic reading skills will surely think I am, however it's retarded that ETF2L and especially this community have ignored similar situations in the past and only now reacted to it because it is Uberchain. People talking about this never being acceptable under any circumstance are the same people that wouldn't have given a fuck if Pred and Degu would've harassed personXYZ instead, even if personXYZ would call them out for it publicly. This community surely isn't going to be better if people only care about a select few instead of everyone. Again, what a joke.
I partially agree with you here (although of course it's going to have attention driven to it due to Uber's status in the community). I hope this does mark a change where we change this ridiculous status-quo (e.g we're deal with this stuff no matter who you are). Too many people have been hurt/driven out of our game by this awful harassment going unchecked.
As I've said previously, talking about it is us taking the first step, our foot is in the door.

I agree with botmode on this, keeping the conversation going shows that this is something that is 1) okay to talk about and 2) something that needs to be talked about. Everything has gone under the radar due to the lack of conversations about this and I worry that if the conversation ends here, everything will return to what it was before.

Does listing of mean words said to the person help anyone? No it does not. Words are easy to ignore on the internet and that's what I think everyone should do if they don't like what other people say.
I have empathy for her but in my opinion she's addressing it completely wrong way,
Mine and Pred's tweets were clearly jokes, maybe in poor taste, maybe insensitive, maybe unfunny, maybe fucking hilarious. Humour is a subjective thing. But that's what they are, jokes and words.

I distinguish between the statements where someone was just mean to her and where she was genuinely being abused or harassed and I don't think these 2 matters should be even considered to be equally bad or revolting things or even listed together. I support her in getting justice and getting her life back on the track after being a victim of the crime.
If you focus on bad things in your life your life is going to be bad. If you look at thousands of people giving genuine support and love and then see 2 people being dicks and making shitty jokes and what you focus on is the later you are going to have a hard life.
Do we deserve to be criticized for what we did? Yes we do. Do we deserve more attention than uberchain, people supporting her and the culprit? No we do not. But we are getting it.
