New ESEA Whitelist

4812622Of the unlocks listed, the only ones that aren't overpowered, irritating, or useless are Tomislav, Widowmaker, and MAYBE Dalokohs (it's fairly useless but not as useless as Shotgun Heavy). And the Liberty Launcher, but that's already unbanned so I don't have to argue about it.
may as well un ban the useless ones as well, since if they arent good, why ban them and why use them.

plinkoI, personally, think the whitelist could be expanded significantly without major damage to the game, leaving all but the most broken items in and most people wouldn't run them. It would make games a touch gimmicky and slow the game down at times, but if it would make Valve suddenly turn the car around and give big time support to comp, it would be 100% worth it, IMHO.
Lets do it then, maybe we could make a pug group, super expand the whitelist, and if anything we leave in is actually broken/game changing, remove it. See how far we can open up the whitelist?

Knuckles_Idk if you guys have seen dreamboat popping up here and there in the forums but this kid is super stoked about playing open. 2 months ago? He told me he was looking for a gold team. I told him (honestly probably too harshly) that UGC will get him nowhere and he will regret playing against people that won't challenge him. 1 month ago he messaged me sad, but determined saying that his UGC friends had gotten mad at him, saying he wasn't good enough to play open and that he "was just going to fail." But dreamboat is one determined little shut and he is paid up to play open.
Three cheers for that dreamboat guy!

Some people live in Uni res like me. I had to go home for christmas without my computer, ive been gone for 3 weeks since exams. It's a little hard to do tryout scrims when you really cant play, and I've had my co-leader have to run all the tryouts, not really how I envisioned my first ESEA team, and I can imagine a lot of people wouldn't be willing to do tryouts without playing. I'm not surprised by a lack of teams paid up.
Either way, im sitting here waiting for paypal to clear.
