#3 DXTory Audio Issue in Videos
MoominSounds like the bass is just super high. I've never used DXTory so I can't help anymore than that but I guess check your sound settings/drivers.

I hadn't thought of doing that. After changing my bass settings I recorded again to test and that has seemed to work very well. The sound right now is bit tinny, but I'm sure with more tinkering it will come out fine.

Thanks my dude.

#1 DXTory Audio Issue in Videos

I've been using DXTory for some time to record games including TF2, and while I have no issues with the video quality, the audio is a bit jarring. Most sounds are ok, but they're easily overshadowed by this humming noise in the background that gets louder when more things are happening in game. I don't know if this is a hardware issue with any of my devices or my hideously awful PC or a software issue with either TF2 or DXTory.

Here's a quick, 15-second example (Please don't mind the terrible resolution/model quality/textures, it's so that my game isn't a laggy mess. The colour is a little off as well since I wasn't arsed rendering it properly): https://puu.sh/yXN4J.mp4

My first guess would be the soundscapes in game since the tone of the hum seems to change depending on the environment I'm in, but I'm not confident in that guess. This sound either isn't there or isn't as extreme when I'm actually playing, it's only in the recorded file. I'm using the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec in case that helps any.

Any help whatsoever would be really appreciated.
