Unity has, for a number of seasons, always been eager to improve. Someone give him a shot!

Seems like a nice guy who is dedicated to improving his scout game. Someone should throw him a tryout.
I don't care either way, buddy...I think you're getting the error because my friendslist is full (purge forthcoming). That said, you were asked several times not to continue killing me as I was trying to show my team's roamer (who was playing 6s for the first time ever) how to position himself properly as a general matter. You ignored my requests, and then got smart about it. We then heard what pie said.
Look - you come to a private event, hosted by, provided by, and serviced by volunteers. You act like an idiot. Don't be surprised when the other shoe drops. If you are committed to doing things differently, then we can just write you off as a stupid kid and give you a second chance. Otherwise, man up. Actions have consequences, etc.
To cap it off, you make some absurd appeal to the community at large on this forum. I appreciate that you felt that you were being treated unfairly - but did you give a chance for this to work internally on the group's board before you attempt to drag us through the mud? I posit that you did not, which suggests that while you may feel passionately about the issue, you still lack even a modicum of humilty, grace, and respect towards the people who do take time out of their day to try to help others.
kirbydownpourtl;dr - CEVO more attractive to newer competitive players; ESEA more attractive to long-time players of competitive games and sponsors.
Which ultimately means CEVO will, unless something goes wrong, replace ESEA in time?
in time, sure. If it dedicates sufficient resources towards an "endgame" like a LAN, probably sooner than later. At the end of the day, it's sad to see so few new registrants in open. After all, without a vibrant open scene, many current invite players/teams wouldn't have ever had that chance.
I don't think blink is advocating abandoning CEVO. In his opening remarks, he noted that it was his intent to play in both leagues. I think he is trying to persuade people not to cast ESEA aside blindly. And I don't think that's a bad thing. Some people (me included) don't have time to play in multiple leagues, and if you choose CEVO over ESEA, then fine. But it might come back to bite us all in the ass in 2 seasons if CEVO folds again. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but it's worth thinking about.
we were sandbagging this season.
lot of potential here. Would be a good pickup for an IM team to develop. Has good gamesense, pretty good aim, pretty good movement, really great attitude.
big ingin. Let's get that drink soon. If anyone is looking for a combat class, give this guy a shot!
mix^ wins too fast. iT wins too fast. LiT wins too fast.
When we win, it's with agonizing slowness.
This thread has turned into "How Phrakture got his blue back."
Sal is a good pickup for Quantum Flux. Blinky + TicTack combo is going to be a tough nut to crack and cringe is hitting a lot of shots. Open should be fun to watch this season!
Fzero is a good guy. Deserves a shot in IM at the very least. Some of the new open teams could really benefit enormously from his experience, I think.
congrats on the roster spot, mason. I've only played with him a few times, and he seems pretty ok to me in terms of being chill. Maybe I'm just easy to get along with, though.
Played with him a little bit. He seems to be earnest in his desire to improve. A really good pickup for a team looking late for a med and willing to help him develop.
thrasherLets just start a rumor that it was all Eldritchs fault ;)

Sucks about don't trip tho, solid team.
I see what you did there :)
I know it was you, thrasher. You broke my heart. You broke my heart!
Don't feel bad for me - I'm excited that I had even this opportunity to play. Many thanks to the guys on dt for that opportunity, and even more thanks to klanana for sticking with the team through thick and (mostly) thin.
edit: and I had 2 invite games :D
