But yeah, 99% of claims from the IDF or any Israeli propaganda machine are fabricated, why would Hamas stop in the middle of an attack in a country with one of the strongest militaries in the world, to do the things the IDF claims they were doing at the festival? That is literally suicide and would in no way benefit their goal. There is alot of video evidence that most of the deaths of the festival goers actually came from the IDF not being able to differentiate the civilians from Hamas combatants, why would Hamas rape people in a festival but not when they hold them hostage? Why does one side have countless video and photo evidence, first hand accounts, testimonies while the other never releases anything concrete and only sends people to talk for them on mass media shows? Most of their claims and justifications for committing genocide (which can never be justifiable ever) are manufactured to gain consent from people in the west to continue their bloody campaign. Its in these times that it is a good reminder to always do your own research instead of ingesting the curated crap that major news companies dish out and nothing else.

MongEnzoDBI hate that terrorism is a term that only gets applied to muslims and no other group, at least not nearly as much as them, every single imperial project/body has produced more suffering and actual terror than every terrorist group combined. The resistance group rebelling against their life long oppressors are only dubbed as terrorists because what they do is inconvenient to their occupation and goals of genocide and ethnic cleansingWhy you bring religion into this is beyond me. You spent the whole thread justifying terrorist actions because of "muh oppressors" while I instantly and completely deny all such violence from both sides (unless it involves bombing terrorists!). They are called terrorists because they commit terrorist actions (like killing and raping innocent festival goers on Oct 7th). It's 2024 and I can't wait for Hamas to get annihilated (with preferably no civilian casualties) because they are a 20th century terrorist group stuck in the 21st.

The IDF has been doing this well before October 7th

MongpajaroI don't agree with illegal settlements or settler violence, but I still wouldn't call it terrorism per say, at least from what I read in the 2023 links (I don't care about 30 year old attacks). It's normal violence. If there was settler terrorism, I would also disavow that.
Wild_Rumpusnative americans did violently resist US settlers & expansion and it was justifiedSome did, and they lost, as did (partly) Palestine. If it was justified back then I'd have to say it depends on the details. Justified today? Definitely not.

are all of your countrymen this horrible

Chris_Wild_RumpusChris_ I simply wish to know why people are so quick to make linear narratives and comparisons between Ukraine and Russia and Israel and Palestinei actually agree that russia/ukraine doesnt really make for a good parallel to israel/palestine. there are far more apt examples of settler colonialism such as the aforementioned apartheid south africa, the jacksonian united states & the trail of tears, or nazi germany's lebensraumChris_Care to give me your take on how Hamas or the PLO benefits in any way the Palestinian people or cares about the civilians in Gaza? this ones easy, theyre the only real resistance against israel. if you dont like that, and there is plenty not to like about hamas, then take it up with the israeli government for not only assassinating leaders and destroying more secular resistance movements, but actually supporting hamas exactly so that people like you can look at the flawed resistance as a reason to continue oppression
If you believe that Hamas is ‘resistance’ as opposed to a terrorist organisation, then you hold no validity to further claims on the matter, you simply support the barbaric killing and raping of civilians in the name of Jihad & antisemitism. Must be nice to be able to have your antisemitic deep thoughts be given a foundation through modern day western cheerleaded ISIS.

Alot of claims that are aimed towards Hamas are fabricated, with no solid proof ever being made public, while there are countless first hand accounts, videos, and pictures of what Palestinians and even Jews suffer under the Israeli occupation. Even if all the claims were true, it STILL does not ever justify the collective punishment that Palestinians are suffering right now, the targeted famine, indiscriminate bombing of residential blocks, hospitals, schools, ambulances, and the alarmingly high number of journalist casualties, cutting down olive trees, so even in this world that the mass media paints of Hamas being unanimously evil, the Israeli occupation is capable of worse and HAS done far worse

I literally started the thread by saying how everyone on this site immediately showed sympathy to ukraine and how everyone was reasonably civil, I make this thread and everyone says "what did you expect." The notion that because everyone in this site likes to shipost meaning we cant have like an actual discussion is stupid

When Ukraine was invaded by Russia, a thread was started and everyone instantly showed their support for the Ukrainian people, however, when Gaza sees unprecedented bombing, displacement of its residents, and death and abuse at the hands of the IDF, everyone just stays silent and I've kinda just been stewing about how that's been the case, why isn't anyone talking about it? The occupation of Palestine has been going on for over half a century and just now when they ramp up their final solution to finish the genocide/ethnic cleansing there is just radio silence, but WHY!!! Over 25k dead, almost 2 million people displaced from their homes, and again and again nobody wants to talk about it and we only see about how Israel has a right to "defend" itself from people who only yearn for freedom. I know its very little but I so badly want to help in any way I can to show my support for the Palestinian people. I've seen so many videos and images of Palestinian men, women, children, gored or in misery because of what my tax dollars are funding, and while again, I know this isn't much in the way of directly helping, everyone needs to know what is happening. Its really easy to be comfortable in our homes right now, so comfortable that its easy to forget that many people elsewhere are not to lucky to be granted any comfort whatsoever.

Free Palestine, end the occupation

Thank you for your time
