Tapleyso lets give you shitters a chance.
Wow rude.
the301stspartanYeah well, I thought that too but I really did everything I can do at this point I think.
Couple years of pubs. Couple weeks of lobbies full of trolls. Then PUGs, MGE and DM. I'm still pugging of course, but that's all. I really don't have any friends that are into comp like I am, pretty much all my friends that play tf2 play mostly pubs, sometimes we MGE together but I always win. I feel like getting into a team is the next logical thing to do, especially since I have more time to actually give a shit about tf2 now than ever before. Until I get into one of course I will continue pugging and doing other tf2-related activities.
Go for it then, if you´ve waited that long it isn´t rushing anymore is it? :P
If i were you i´d just search for a div 5 team as div 6 is pretty much for people new to comp imo.
the301stspartanWell I want to play, so I would probably be a very dedicated backup.
The question is, if I join any div 6 team, am I going to be playing in div 6 the rest of the year? I mean at top level, people hop around teams pretty much on a daily basis, but I don't see me doing that, even if I would get an offer from a different team.
I mean, am I supposed to steam PM my team and say "yeh, was a good time with you but I know some people who need a scout and they're div 5 so go fuck yourself and get a new scout huehue"? I think that would make me an asshole. I would like to point out that I am not an asshole. So yeah, I will just try to find a good team and do my best.
There´s people that always stay in 1 team no matter how well they do.
There´s people that hop no matter how well his previous team did.
There´s people that want to grow in comp tf2 and those people have choices:
- Do you want to go up divs? Stay if your team is doing better and better, Leave if there´s no improvement.
Look, there´s people playing for only fun, there´s people playing to become a name in comp tf2 and there´s people who are a mixture between those two.
Just see what you want to do with comp tf2.
Don´t make the same mistake i made, don´t rush trying to get in a team.
I would actually recommend you getting to know people, mercing for the team of a friend to get some experience, play some mixes with your friends etc. If you´re going to rush things you´re going to end up like me... and that´s without a team.
Be keen, but don´t rush anything.
And if all fails.
you could just try to click on people.
Sideshowaccording to ipz it boosts teamwork 50% immediately
tell ipz this isn´t pokémon.
Alfiedoes this mean having a booth for people who have no idea what competitive tf2 is?
pls explain
Bootcamp is basically when a team gets together (in a house or whatever) and basically plays as if they're at lan, to get a proper feel for it. (Not 100% certain)
maidoswhat happend with slin? Thought he was medic for vector
Awwwkwaaaard.
In all seriousness, he isn't anymore. things just weren't working out between slin and vector.
so basically he said: "I don't care about my team or the viewers. if i can't have my fov i ain't playing".
Gg.

Yea, I hate when people quote everything above them, but sometimes it helps so it's easy to keep up with what was said before...I could careless if it stayed or went away.ThomastrogMYLESThis is really stupid and you should all feel bad.hookyScribbyoh my god what is the tf2 community doingGrImpartialammo888defyWaldoI totally agree with all you guys above, we should TOTALLY stop quoting others that much.PokemonAdventureKissmehooliatmohooliOh ok, I thought he meant all the time.trogSo that images aren't repeated needlessly over and over, visually clogging the page.athermalAlso remove image tags and just show the link.why?

Why would someone even do that?

Is this considered a combo breaker?

Fixed
we have to go deeper
Chaaaaarge!
What happened to the vod?
It´s really annoying, i´m maincaller on the team i play on aswell. Around the level of div 4 or lower maincallers aren´t perfect, they make missstakes your team probably thinks that you´re making a bad call if they don´t listen. They have to understand that whatever the maincaller says has to be done.
I´ve got somehwat the same problem in my team, people just not listening to me or interupting me while i´m talking.
CalifaxIs Tagg actually playing this time?
I think so, he missed the first 2 games against epsilon because of mothersday.
What will the pings for both teams be on the NY server?
