If you're on a laptop go to power options and into advanced settings, then change the options in display, sometimes there's this weird enable adaptive brightness bugging things out. I'm not sure if this setting is on desktops as well

No idea why it's happening. This also happens when using other backgrounds and even the map_Background function. They're all darker on the menu than they should be. Nothing else in the game is abnormally dark either. Not to mention, this was happening before I installed the 2007 menu, and I don't think I have any huds installed.
