FireStarw1280x1024 is a 5:4 res so be sure to use those overides though they won't affect the chat
Here's a quick little untested smaller chat box, put it in resource/ui/

I'll have a proper smaller chat/resolution fixed override soon. (alternativly, you could use the basechat.res file from another Hud you like)
i just realized that I'm actually using a 4:3 res i'm just so used to my tf2 res be the same as the monitor one, but still the 4:3 overrides make the chat box huge, i will just use yahud basechat.res for now until you have a smaller one
