Lucky_ShotHoly shit. What college are you at? (in a not stalker way)
university of minnesota....................
it's worth it if you liked sr3
i've played 67 hours of it since it came out and have beaten it twice and 100% it once
i feel like turbine is way too confined to be a good dm map once it's over 6 people
a lot of the times people just get up to the high ground and spam down rockets (at least whenever i played in the map), and i have also noticed demomen end up accidentally spawn camping people if they ever decide to use stickies in dm
some people even switch to demo and just actually spawncamp the spawns under the balcony area since it's an area that a lot of people go through and people spawn there often
i use all the defaults in chris fps config for good settings
cl_cmdrate 66
cl_interp 0
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_lagcompensation 1
cl_pred_optimize 2
cl_smooth 0
cl_smoothtime 0.01
cl_updaterate 66
rate 60000
my ping on average is anywhere from 80 - 180 depending where the servers are
i use 0 for projectile and 0.033 for hitscan in terms of interp
keits banned me from srk when smash bros was in evo for the first time because i made an arguing point about why competitive smashers keep items banned and why it's a bad decision to have items on for evo
and then it happened and smash got taken out of evo until this past year
he also pointed out how bad of a game smash bros is if it can't be played competitively without banning anything and mocked everyone throughout the thread without listening to anyone else's point of view
i don't agree with a lot of his views in terms of fighting games in general and i don't agree with how he is basically making money now off of people who got mad at pre-nerfed yun's divekick from street fighter 4
i hate keits as a person too much to attempt to support divekick, but i'm posting here to see other peoples experiences with the game since it looked alright (but dumb) when i saw it at tournaments as exhibition
(post history tag)
lewis carroll
edgar allan poe
robert frost
dante alighieri
edward estlin cummings
mark twain
william shakespeare
shel silverstein
walt whitman
there's so many to name that i think i'll just stop here lol
i hate studying poetry, but i really enjoy reading it casually
edit: also if i had to only pick one, i'd probably pick lewis carroll based on the jabberwocky alone
one of my all time favorite poems
there is no help
only cookies
i went out to get some thai food with a friend and we watched a movie called the bay together
it was okay
now i'm going to watch the second silent hill movie again while waiting for saints row 4 to unlock so i can live out my dream of being a dominant werewolf soldier and beat everyone to death with various penis-shaped objects
it hinders performance based on how big you leave it
that's why when you start dropping frames a lot, people suggest to lower bitrate or lower the resolution, as it takes less data to upload when the resolution is smaller
it was created apparently because european lans had barely any desk space, so you compensate it by removing the room for the keyboard and placing your mouse there instead
Lucky_Shotvilewho uses this? i've had a lot of success with this but i got tired of moving my keyboard to a normal position every time i stopped playing tf2. do you rest your elbow on the table? is your body parallel to your monitor? which direction does your elbow point to? etc etcNot sure if this is common knowledge... What is russian style?
keyboard on lap with your mousepad laid in front of you
you have the mouse horizontally instead of vertically and use your arm mainly as the mousepad is in front of you where the keyboard usually sits while the keyboard is in your lap
