You got me into this wonderful world of 6v6 TF2 and helped me improve as a player. I can't thank you enough for that Sal. Best of luck in all your IRL endeavors.

You'll have to use a miniDisplay port to DVI or HDMI converter. You can only use up to 2 DVI/HDMI at once (1 of each, or 2 of one). Your best bet would be 2 MD to DVI converters, and then just use the two DVI you already have. That's what I can think of.
Or, if you can find a Display port to 2x DVI/HDMI, you can have all 5.
I don't believe I'm good enough to be on a playoffs level Open team, so I'm looking for a cool bunch of dudes that I can build off of and learn with. I have every rollout down pat. I've also got around 170 hours on comp demo, and I love to learn.
Some things about me that you probably don't care about
- I play on 60 HZ
- I'm using the guide to making a looking thread
- I like Pokemon
Experience
- 6 scrims or so (all tryouts)
- Around 100 tf2mixes
- 400~ lobbies (I didn't have a mic for a long time)
- Like 5 tf2 pug na games
R3VoltBiggest Regret:
Most likely making my parents have such high expectations of me. This leads to any point drop in school to be the end of the world. I have a 100 average in math class and they blow it off like it's nothing, a little appreciation goes a long way but they don't see that. So, I'm stuck with a 4.0 GPA in highschool and playing vidya games without my parents caring. :(
P.S. They're the stereotypical "tark to me wen u doctur." kinda Asians, so yeah...
This. I wish I had done some stupid stuff earlier because now I don't hear a word out kg them about my grades unless its negative reinforcement. They take my 4.6 for granted. On a similar note, I regret waiting until noe to chill out about my grades, because they monitor it like I'm a prisoner, and some days I feel like I am. It's gotten to the point where I have some serious emotional problems because I can't impress my parents and the last time I heard praise out of them was too long ago.
This is why I'm moving out of country when I finish College. Also, everyone in my school, county, state is like that most of the time. It's just the times man.
Upgrade to an 8350, a 7970, add a 120 GB sad, and get an 8x2 kit of 1600+ ram. If you wanna upgrade your board, go for an m5a97. It's the board I use and it's great for the price and in general. Also, if I'm wrong and you aren't a movie editor, go for 4x2 instead
hookyI'd get a 3570k and 8 GB RAM for sure, if you do decide to upgrade. AMD's FX-8350 doesn't perform as well in TF2 (ask rays), and I assume it's because the 3570k is better per core.
SSDs are nice, get a 120+ GB one though.
Power supply will probably be reusable.
For the video card, I'd look at the 7870. I have a 6870 and it's been good to me. I can run BF3 pretty well on it, although that will probably change when I get a new monitor. I'm sure people will recommend some Nvidia cards too. (Edit: 7770 is probably better for the price, and for TF2)
Also, if you don't have one already, you should get a 120+ Hz monitor. I currently use a 100 Hz CRT (was testing it, plan on getting the Asus VH248QE) and it's amazing. I love being able to see scouts.
if butdget is of no object then go for a 3960x and 2x 7970 so you can absolutely use that 144hz on EVERYTHIGN X]
redban + shlaner. why is this not an im team.
IcTus is fun to play with and you will learn something about the game from him, guaranteed.
Added for pocket try out
