#3 Need Some More Coaches for Newbie Mixes! in TF2 General Discussion
Bubbai would coach but i dont have a season of ESEA. i could probably do duel coaching, like with 2 per team

Having two coaches per team will only make it worse since each player has their differing views on how to play video games. Also why would you have one less newbie play?

#4 Hey I'm a great demo looking for a team in Recruitment (looking for team)

First off, you're in the wrong thread. Someone should move that to the recruitment section.

Second, no one will ever use Skype. It is inferior compared to mumble.

Lastly, I know you aren't an alt(at least with those hours you aren't) but you should work on your spelling.

#3 Custom crosshair in Q/A Help

Probably couldn't make the konr wings rainbow color but you can edit the size of the tiny dot in the crosshair switcher.

#57 g400 no longer being replaced by Logitech in Hardware
Foxdoes anyone whose g400 broke due to the cord use a mouse bungee?
i've had my g400 since launch and haven't had a problem yet

i even bought 5 spares when they went on sale because i got paranoid that mine was due to break any day now

i'm just really curious, because people like asianriceguy (post 50) claim they went through 3 of these mice, which makes me wonder how the cord keeps breaking

Probably due to poor care or something. If anything it's pretty fragile I guess. But mine has been fine for months now and I only put a stack of index cards on it :P

#10 Facecam with laptop? in Hardware
simfooYou could do the following (I have not tried it nor do I know anything about the details):

-Install VLC on the laptop
-Let it stream your laptop webcam via RTP inside your local network (yes, VLC can stream videos, either from files or cameras)
-Install VLC on your desktop
-Let it receive said laptop stream from your LAN
-Setup OBS to capture the desktop VLC instance

It should work, I have no idea what the quality and delay will be though

Worth a try, VLC is free after all...

EDIT: I have a laptop with a camera, maybe I'll try to set it up later

Personally, I would rather get a webcam. I don't think the delay is worth it since it just looks really weird on stream. But thanks for the help. If I'm ever desperate, I'll probably use both yours and Reilly's methods.

#6 Facecam with laptop? in Hardware
SBARROHOTTOPICeveryone's answering this like you'll be streaming on your laptop.

if you're going to stream on your desktop, you need a usb webcam. you can't use your integrated laptop webcam on your desktop.

Thank you :c

#5 Video Lag or Something in Hardware

I use coretemp: http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

But usually if I get these fps drops, my computer turns into a heater and I can feel it.

#1 Facecam with laptop? in Hardware

I recently got a laptop with a webcam on it and I was wondering if there is any way I could get a facecam from this laptop if I stream from my desktop. I use OBS if that would change anything.

#2 Video Lag or Something in Hardware

Usually I lose frames when my processor starts getting hot. Maybe that might be the problem
