liked it, but after a while it felt to repetitive

Did tenor saxophone for 4 years and piano 6 years, about two years in playing tenor saxophone I realized everything I was taught was wrong so I had to relearn everything I knew as a result.
:(
the best wrist strengthening is repetition every day, all day through scrims and personal practice, like also a factor is if you are stiff person. get up and give your self a 15-20 min break (at least for me)to loosen up your arm and waist.
RJmana If anything, it's massive inspiration to get better. I met b4nny and bl4nk at Seattle LANFest and I'd be a liar if I said it didn't push me to do better.
- You're also correct about the off-time. And being 18 might be a factor, yes. Really depends on the crowd.
- You don't need to tear down your setup until the end of Sunday. If they do things right it's pretty secure. Some people are renting hotels (me and John), some people will probably sleep at the LAN itself (I did this at Seattle LANFest, was surprisingly not terrible).
It also helps to be able to bring a friend, but it's not necessary. :)
First of all, thanks for responding! :) Going to go in order and ask a few follow up questions, if that is okay.
-I feel like I would want to improve a ton after meeting anybody in person...I would love to watch them and how they play. I'm learning Pocket and Roamer since I love to jump, but my DM is lacking; I've been hitting up pugs since I can't commit to a team due to school.
Anyways...
-Hmm, my main concern is about having my gear stolen. It's not that I don't trust us TF2 players, I'm just worried about leaving my seat and coming back to something missing.
-With that point in mind, if I was to sleep at the LAN, would I be sleeping at my chair? :P I guess I would pack accordingly, though.
-I don't have any friends who play TF2 in real life, sadly. It would likely just be me on my own, though I'm sure one of my parents is paranoid about me going.
Sorry for my rambling, thanks again for responding! If my schedule lines up, I should be able to go. :D Are there any seats left?

I think the people who attend don't really have stealing on their minds, but it is a possibility and just remind yourself your items are occasionally.
O yay, im also like you RJ, nervous to go n' stuff, being as I am also 18 also and most people at the lan should be much older n' stuff and yay, its kinda intimating at first if you think about it. But still, i think its going to be a blast. Think it would be great place to meet people and make new friends.
Also there is a seat between me and frieght-train (M15) and three seats (K13-k15), and (L10) next to Bdonski, you may wanna snag up one of these options.

did the best i could do
Its like a full night on Friday, then full day on Saturday, we got time to do anything if people don't get tired. There is a park not that far away for fresh air and nature hikes.
SakuraAnyone want to draft Magic cards at the LAN? kL, London, and I were thinking of doing a Gatecrash draft when we got there. You'll probably need to chip in like $10 for the booster packs.
Will maybe do, was always interested in the card game, will try to learn to play before lan.
OOVOOVyo dudes in row K, should consider moving to M; it's easier to talk to people when you're across an empty gap instead of across table
yea sounds like a good idea, were going to try and fill seats m10-m14, also c u @ the lan enigma and friends
please add to list:
Ghostac (K17)
kreek (K18)
toepoo (K19)
braz (K20)
picodes (K21)
please tf2's, come and fill this lan, make it a blast, thnx.

Some tips I accumulated, hope it helps:
Get good sleep; do not over-force yourself (every above reply); move around away from computer; bad days can become good days, just find the practice that best suits you, foods can influence your game. Also: "Gotta take notes, or you'll learn nothing, get a piece of paper and write what you did good and what you did bad, mouse position, grip. What was different from today and yesterday? What can I change to improve? You just gotta ask yourself those questions" - Lange (i faintly remember what stream vid it was since it was long ago but some wise words to help, thnx Lange).
bump and merry christmas, best wishes.
