Yeah that's one thing.
It is basically enough to try out browns, and if you feel that they could be more direct, require more actuation force, more defined, then order a keyboard with clears.
That's how I did it at least.

Feel the same, they sound different tho

Before you go with browns highly consider testing out clears, they are not as mushy and soft as browns and feel just right.

You can just decrease the size of score_width a bit and it will be better than reducing name_width.

Today I made some basic changes like:
Increasing font size of ammo and health (only on numerical) to 42 from 36 (26 from 24 reserve ammo)
Redid the spectator tournament HUD, looks damn sweet.
New spectatorguuhealth option, had this options in my mind for a while, finally got it to work how I wanted, it looks close to the default one but, the health cross portion is only on the far right leaving the health number infront of a black BG to improve visibility.

On a related note, if anyone has a killstreak weapon and wants to lend it to me then please add me, makes it possible for me to edit the killstreak stuff.

Cherry G80-3000 is the cheapest.
Build quality is just ok, switches are great though, comes in blues blacks reds and clears. It's an enterprise model so it won't be advertised as mechanical keyboard directly but it is. Look up the specific model numbers on their website.

MX clears are incredible.
