KerchGuys, the stream isn't down, they're just playing Snakewater.
Is there a joke that I'm missing here?

DunderBroGrImpartialIf it were NA vs EU that would bring in more viewers but hopefully you americans will watch the finals anywayswwalruswhat s the viewership at i49 compared to i46?If I recall correctly, it was at about 4500 for the i46 Grand Finals. It may not be as high for i49 due to there only being 1 continent playing. Also, 11:00 a.m. EST is pretty early for a lot of North Americans, so it probably won't be as high for that reason too. (I know it was the same time for i46 Grand Finals.)
I do plan on watching, and I think a lot of North Americans will still watch, the Grand Finals just won't rake in quite as many views as they possibly could.

ScubaSquidpls stop calling HRG the American's
They can call them the Americans, even if they have Cyzer, it's not a big deal. Calling them "Haich Our Gee" is 10x worse.
KanecoGrImpartialI was aware Yuki played invite this season (was it his first Invite season?) but I didn't have deep knowledge on that so I dont know how he did, however he does seem the most capable of iM, having been top demo and soldier before in australia.KanecoIts really interesting to see how this will play out, because iM have been so secluded in the aus scene, dominating everything and everyone they may not have got the competition to get to the level of top EU-NA teams. They may have been secluded, but Yuki did prove capable as scout in Invite. This was also on very high ping.
I seriously hope they can hold their own and reach a respectable spot! Good luck with this week practises!
I'm genuinely curious as to how this will end. It's such a isolated scene (yet so good in quality). There's a lot of analogies that explain what I want to say exactly but none comes to mind now.
Yuki is a pocket main. Basically he did a few demo reviews for downpour when he was in IM, (Division, not team) and then when they moved up to invite they had a scout spot open up. Downpour asked if yuki wanted to come play in invite and he did. So he was also on an offclass. And yes, it was his first invite season.

turtsmcgurtsSaxualContentWould it be possible to try creating a server plugin to experiment with some of the recommended changes, such as the removal of building on mediguns?i made something similar, except it increased the charge rate of the normal uber by 50%, but decreased the duration by 50%. So you get it quicker, but have it for less time. i think the charge time was 20s, duration was 4s.
the consensus of the few of pug's we did was that it made the game faster paced and more exciting, which was the point. of course you can't balance something around 4 pugs, though.
this was kind of both on and off topic :p
The problem with this is that you'll have uber by the time you get to mid, and easily win the mid. This could end up resulting in the exact same problem...
flipperslets get going again! im in a pug right now so i cant watch
That pug was actually pretty fun.
Boink, Gullywash 4th round at river/lobby area, against trihards.
Between the flashing between frags in clips and the music, it looked almost like a trailer to a really amazing frag movie. I liked it.
My one suggestion would be to not have it flash quite as much. It made it almost confusing as to what was going on.
EDIT: I got ninja'd so hard.
MoyI would prefer a 120hz monitor, yeah. I'd assume a decent one's at around 22 inches is, like, $150 or something.
Asus VG248QE is 24" and around $280. That's around the cheapest you'll get for a 120hz monitor...
EDIT: It's around the cheapest you'll get without a ton of input lag or awful colours.
An iM whole team interview would be great, probably had that planned already though.
causeLet me explain what I mean. First off lets look at other documentaries. A good example to me that comes to mind is FRAG: The movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBncjnPP-ts which is still in my mind one of the greatest showings of esports documentaries to date (may be beaten by Free To Play once Valve releases it to the public) even though it focused mainly on the old Quake era.
Just watched that documentary. I must say, 1:00:48......

If they really didn't want any money, they would not have created this thread. It should be a privilege to attend an international lan since you're representing the entire na community, I know for a fact teams like mixup will die for another chance to dominate eu. Getting a free ticket to Europe unlike the Aussies who had to pay the entire trip out of their pocket is already good enough. And if they knew finance was going to be a problem, there are more than enough teams willing to take their spot
I do agree with you, but Team Immunity did get some help with i49 finances. It was not nearly as much as HRG, but the community did contribute.

defyfrom what i understand there isn't a whole lot of tf2 action in this docu, its more focused around the event it self. buyer beware <|8O)
Think of all the what if's, maybe this is just a giant scandal taking a ride on the hype train. I think you guys need to offer refunds.
