i have never once enjoyed playing mge and have never once learned from it, why are people adamant about putting yourself through agony for the sake of superficial improvement

i find it extremely difficult to understand what im supposed to be learning when im at 5 health and my opponent still feels the need to s-key all the way around spire in a circle like a benny hill segment

it might just be mge bitching but ive been cut from a team for not playing mge often enough and every time i do its like jamming steak knives through my eyes

which one

ive been having a really strange rubber-banding issue that's unique to tragicservers specifically, it happens around three times a minute while im playing where everything around me will stop for about a second or two, then keep going

its make-or-break to playing in almost every scenario (kills my momentum on bombs, players teleporting away from where i shoot a rocket, getting shot from around corners / through shutters by players who haven't pushed yet, etc.)

what's weird about lagging on tragicservers is that:

• i can play on other servers (ecj jump, as mge, serveme, pubs, etc.) where the game runs fine
  
• i play on college ethernet (i think xfinity) at a stable 10mbps and have never had standard lag issues
  
• ive tried playing on several different computers and get the same issue on each one

if anyone knows a fix id appreciate help

im getting a little worried about how many leagues we're branching out to for 6s, i mean i like having a ton of places to play tf2 but how many is too many

tfcl, rgl and esl have all proposed their league plans and all three 6s leagues seem to be following the same general ideas in terms of prizepool, divisions, ruleset etc. - they all serve the purpose but none of them seem to stand out as unique yet

compare this to the dichotomy of ugc 6s and esea 6s, where you played the former for free to work on a cohesive team then paid up for the second to try and win some games - kind of a minor and major league where both had their niche

call me paranoid or an idiot or what you will but i cant help but have flashbacks to the esea vs. cevo race we had a few years back, and i dont feel like dividing up our playerbase again is gonna be a great idea looking forward

aside from that i feel like encouraging competition between leagues is the best way to get a truly "better" league for ourselves, and ill certainly end up playing the best of the three, though im worried about what's gonna happen in-between
