The transparency of the deathnotices in m0rehud has always stayed the same. If you wish to change it simply open up hudlayout.res and loacte deathnotice. then find the part that says
"LocalBackgroundColor"
and make the 200 lower.
"LocalBackgroundColor" "240 240 240 200"
e.g
"LocalBackgroundColor" "240 240 240 140"

FRAHXNKIYeah shame on moth for trying something different...maybe he should just stick to switching around the fonts and colors in garm3n hud. Or better yet spend all his time making the main menu look pretty.
For a hud to be succesful or "good" if must be readable. If your hud is not readable then you've already failed.
There is nothing wrong with creativitiy. Look at what Eric does. he makes some genuinely cool stuff.
