Is there any particular reason mods/admins don't post notifying that they're locking a thread and a potential justification?
Seems like a pretty conventional thing forum mods do on virtually every other forum around, always wondered why TFtv didn't.

I've found these have come in handy: https://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-Clean-Brush-Orange/dp/B003M8GMS6/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=oxo+good+grips+brush&qid=1612820653&sr=8-6
The spatula end is really good for scraping off thermal grease.
I keep a container of Q-tips, cotton makeup pads, toothpicks, and 99% isopropyl in my toolkit for cleaning.
crackbabydumpsterruby16_tfngl i just really wanna go to a lan and see all the other degens that play this game and just do some irl pugs. and i am wondering if there are any small cons that might be willing to host a lan. or just a any places that would be down to host one like the esports arena in Arlington tx
actually nuts you posted this as an actual hypothetical thing we could do not just like "man i miss tf2 lans"
I miss LANs just as much as anyone here, especially now that they are feasible for me.
The idea of doing more frequent local LANs or PUG meetups was tossed around when we did the small LANs in Toronto back in 2015, obviously not materializing. In hindsight, venues like Hunter & Lucas and Raiders/Hive would have been good places to do it. There are still venues like those two around in Ontario and the NE USA, so it's definitely doable, or we find a church basement that'll have us every few months where we can hijack the LAN.
Biggest obstacles to any TF2 meetup is what time of year works best for people, and avoiding conflicts with dates of larger events be it online or in person.

Turn off the middle switch like shown. Had this issue not too long ago on Chrome and did that to fix. I thought it was just shitty CSS a subreddit I was on had.
And before you say that's Opera not Chrome, Opera is Chrome
Hey everyone,
I have deliberated for too long without any lean towards making any decision.
I am looking for a second monitor to compliment my Asus VG248QE. My desired specs are: true 24", IPS, 1920x1080, lower latency the better. Some models I've looked at are:
Any particular make or model better than others from anyone's experience? Anything people have now that's similar that they'd recommend?
My budget is ~$200CAD not including tax. I've also contemplated just buying the updated VG248QE (VG248QG) because it's only ~$60 more from most of the monitors I've been looking at. But I barely have the hardware to justify 1080p@144hz so I don't see a reason to go higher on that.
I killed an Asus USB adapter after almost daily use for about a year. I really am not keen on Wifi adapters, but I get that you may be in a situation like me and ethernet is not an option.
Second one I bought that hasn't broken is a D-link DWA130. It's not used daily anymore, but sometimes I swear it works better than my PCIe adapter.
You once told me that if we ever stopped talking that I'd forget who you are, but how could I? I want to know how you're doing, and what you're dong now. You've grown up, and I've grown up. I still feel guilty for what I did, that's what I want you to know, and that you're still in my memories.
Didn't do it at all when I was using a Razer Naga Hex, but I will do it with my Zowie (Bought a Logitech G603 for work and same thing).
bleghfarecmicwoj92Thanks guys, I'll see if it helps.
Unfortunately, it's unlikely they'll convert the bitmap to an SVG for you. I don't know of any vector artists in the TF2 community either, so you'd likely need to make one yourself or find someone.
It doesn't require an "artist", vectoring stuff is just a pain in the ass.
You're out of school, I assume high school? That's already a start.
When it comes to work and enjoyable hobbies, there's two main ways to look at it: You enjoy your work, and thus your enjoyment/employment supplements your living, or you work in order to supplement your hobbies and living.
Were you part of any clubs throughout school, or part of any extra-curricular clubs or activities?
Since leaving school and aging out of some programs, I've tried my best to keep those activities going in some capacity. As part of combating depression, I set the rule that I cannot, unless absolutely necessary, skip a meeting/rehearsal/you name it. Not having this stuff during the pandemic has made staying afloat and keeping track so much more difficult.
When it comes to work, and a more long-term arrangement, don't get yourself hung up too much over deciding ONE career path. It is possible to change jobs and careers, it's also possible to do some post secondary schooling now, and some later. The question I personally asked myself was, what are some jobs I could do now that would get me a start in the working world?
Just buy a Tahoe with a lightbar and fantasize you've got the authority.
