dashnerAlmost all South American countries also are not apart of the Visa Waiver Program in the US, meaning they have to go through the full process of applying for a Visa rather than an ESTA like a lot of European countries get to do. This process is an absolute nightmare and pretty much makes a team of six South Americans coming to the US for a TF2 tournament impossible.
I recall Powah wanting to go to ESEA LAN for Mad Men and, aside from financial concerns, the visa process is always what stopped him.

Today marks the first day of Forward Spawn, an editorial blog for competitive Team Fortress 2. Here you can find original pieces about players, teams, leagues, and tournaments, including player interviews, team previews, and feature pieces about important people and events in the competitive TF2 community.
To kick off the site, the first installment of the article series: ”The Sun Never Sets on the SVIFT Empire”, a series detailing every single continental division of the SVIFT organization will be released on a weekly basis. The first team to be featured will be the second place ESEA Invite team SVIFT NA. As well as that, the site will also feature ”The Rise and Fall of Faint Gaming”, an article chronicling the history of the Faint Gaming brand within the TF2 scene.
Articles will be uploaded regularly, with new content, players, and teams. Forward Spawn will also intend to feature guest articles, as well as growing its lineup of authors.
