Super minor thing on mid, there are 2 props, a bucket and hose, which haven't been mirrored which you can use for not that useful but better traps if you are playing on blue team compared to red.

Time to break the circlejerk!
The only problem most pyros are having with this update is the drop in switch speed, which lowers what a class that was already limited can do in a competitive setting. I don't really see what is wrong about complaining about that.
When I get near other players my fps seems to be dropping down from 150 to about 50, I guess it could be something in my config?
We might have actually seen sunshine, unlike granary or gravelpit.

Shame it's on viable on trickroom teams....
AvastRegardless of who did what I can guarantee we're going to see the immediate impact of this in both domestic French politics and in the EU abroad.
This could very well be their 9/11, here's hoping they don't roll out their own equivalent mistake of the Patriot Act.
While I agree this will have an affect on the politics of France, this is not 2001's America, the president is a socialist, we are somewhat accustom to terror attacks, things will probably not act out the same way.
As for the EU, there have been terror attacks around the scale of this attack since 9/11 without a major change past increasing the "post 9/11" trajectory. We will wait and see though.
Live from valve HQ!
News that one of TF2 leagues as decided to FORSAKE the holy valve balancing by banning a new, untested mechanic for the remainder of a season reaches the dev team.
A decision is made quickly, for their insubordination, all work on matchmaking is halted and the tf2 begin working solely on making more taunts.
kounterpartsi feel like the only way to get quality feedback is to have higher level teams do a quick map review with the other team to distinguish chokes and flanks. Tf2 works best when everyone knows what theyre doing. Just as to have everyone on the same page. And them to scrim it and give feedback. Its probably implausible. But hopefully that will get some better feedback for our 3D space creaters
I spoke to Phi about this pretty recently, obviously for later testing and refinement you want higher level teams, but the majority of testing for a map open teams can quite easily spot what is and isn't working. I tested one of her new maps pretty recently, and despite only being in open in etf2l were able to flag a lot of things we did and didn't like.
You need to remember that most mappers don't play 6's, and so will often miss things that might be obvious to people who do. Even when they have a good idea of the meta, how something is supposed to play, and how something ends up actually playing is rather different most of the time. Even if you don't think you can give useful feedback, being able to hand over an STV demo for the map maker to look at is pretty useful.
My biggest problem with the map as a demo is there only seems to be one way to play the mid.
In matches where I am consistently slower than the opposing demo to mids I am finding it hard to find ways not to be shut down completely. While "get to mid faster" is ultimately the answer, it would be nice to have an option for games where the other demo is just better than me at rollouts, such as Death against Kaidus inLethal Weapon vs. Reason Gaming.

.
In other maps there are things you can do, like go to small health on process middle, or use a vally rollout on badlands, or walk to balcony. If the enemy demo consistently gets a sticky on the health in hut in logjam, either stopping me getting it or putting me low enough health that I have to play massively passive on the mid I really don't feel like I have any other options how to play the mid. The rollout through log-room seems to leave you equally as easy to block out regardless if you go upper or lower, and these are slower so there is enough time to see you are there.
saamI think mangachu said it best
"There are so many problems I don't even know where to start"
This is exactly why the mapping community rarely wants to develop for competitive.
Devs are trying to reach out and make a map for you, and all people here seem to want to do is tell them their map sucks, without even giving any feedback on what to improve. It's embarrassing frankly.

Can we add putting something lame in front of your real name to the pleb level alias?
Has been known to kill me every mid of a snakewater scrim, cursed to kill teams.
10/10
It was a minor hitch in a great cast.
Perhaps it might have been worth giving a quick "Sorry a drunkard got in" or whatever, but it's not worth focusing on.
back_headshot does as advertised, but only for tf_weapon_scout_pistol_secondary (the Scout pistol unlocks): shots from behind that hit the head are crits.
