To be fair basically everyone who visits this site already plays a superior form of competitive TF2. I've been saying that MM isn't really for us for a long time. Great way to grow the game but we (ok y'all) have a few leagues, pug systems, lobbies, and all that jazz that are already a "better" format of the game than MM is going to be off the bat. MM is going to hopefully go a long way toward removing the barrier for entry, along with possibly changing the format we have in leagues right now.

Audio was fine for me at work using headphones. Great interview though. Was really interesting to hear Clock talk tf2/overwatch comparisons. Surprised more FPS players don't have that same opinion, but maybe they're just not comfortable expressing it quite yet.

I remember playing on duwatna's pc at an ESEA LAN and getting like 30 ping to a new york pub for some reason. Doubt it's 40 to EU but I wouldn't be surprised if it's still pretty good.

I've been saying make it a small hitscan beam for a while now, but mostly because at higher pings the flamethrower becomes more and more useless. Having to actually track and aim the beam would be a pretty good change, imo.

In terms of the changes made, yeah it buffed the wrong thing and nerfed the wrong thing. I can still do all the basic combos just fine. It's way easier just to +forward now too but I can't do any of the weapon switch combos that weren't necessarily airblast related very well, if at all. I don't really think the way I play competitively will be affected much so the changes really seem weird and misplaced.

Totally fine with the airblast changes, but it seems like they could have stopped there and got the same if not better effect.

I wasn't put under for my wisdom teeth and I guess thats kind of rare? They just gave me locals in my gums and reached in and slowly worked them out. I remember the whole thing. The dentist's arms would start shaking back and forth because he was pulling so hard lol. So weird to be awake and able to feel everything they were doing, just not be in any pain.
