icyfrenzySetsulsnipAre you sure about the cpu? When I searched about it, it said how it's only best for hosting.
Is it required to get an SSD?
I've used this cpu for a month or 2 now and it has been running amazingly.
DavidTheWinNull_why is there an air conditioner behind him?

Localisation files get more attention than competitive.
Noob question but how do I update my gpu drivers without using the default net search? Its just updating the catalyst software not the actual driver when i look in driver information on the gpu
edit: installed driver but amd gaming evolved still says i need to update?
what mouse are you using?
Sounds like a good plan.
Im picking the computer back up from them tomorrow, which means I can test out the drivers you suggested before moving onto a new PSU.
Computer store says its the psu, didn't get a chance to update drivers before i sent the computer in. They are recommending a 500W minimum psu, which one do you suggest?
If it turns out that the drivers are the problem then I will be having a word to them...
Reflex, Quake Live.
GPU
Driver Version: 14.100.0.0
BIOS Information: 113-270X-CDJ--110
Not sure about flashing BIOS, I think ill just take it into the pc store and have them sort it out. Thanks for your help :)
I was playing tf2 tonight and 3 times I got a black screen with white vertical lines going down the whole screen. Checked GPU bios and that is all up-to-date. I am also running tf2 in directx 8. is my graphics card faulty?
Also taking computer to local pc centre, how do I explain to them that minimum wattage for graphics cards is bullshit?
EDIT: was just going through old demos when it happened again, this time it was a light green screen, i could still hear audio in the background though.
Ok thanks for clearing that up. ill check on the BIOS for tomorrow.
Also rang up the local PC centre and they said that when I first set up the pc, I may have not had all my pins in fully or something and when I went back tonight and unplugged and replugged everything back in that it was all done properly this time. anyway, ill check and update bios tomorrow. If this problem comes back i think ill just take it in for them to look at, easier that way. Thanks for all your help :)
