Yes ):
I don't really like the layout of the cevo site.
DroidsterHalf the community want a tf.tv league but enigma says he's not interested in doing that, and the other half want ETF2L where the admins are interested. It might sound like a strange suggestion but it addresses some of the problems with ETF2L brought up earlier in the thread. How about an ETF2L and NA ETF2L merger with tf.tv so all the coverage and infrastructure for a league is together, ETF2L has everything needed to run a couple of leagues and tf.tv has the casting capabilities and the sponsorship potential.
League.tf or Ladder.tf, Oh and hooky! It's what ever the community wants. If the community wants a new league I will help make it, if the community wants to go to ETF2L then that's fine by me. I'm just here to help if anyone needs anything.
I'm more than willing to work with Nahanni. I wonder if she would be down to collaborate with me.
fsXDI'm willing to step up and put my mediocre photoshop skills up for use
I think we just need to identify some people or allow people to step up to lead this league, and then get a league of dedicated casters/players
Well I do have experience in leading communities. I use to own a community of 4000+ minecraft players. While that may seem totally different, the leadership qualities transfer over.

She's been there for us. She's down to help, has anybody talked to her?
Yeah, I know! I'm adding her.
brownymasterJust remember that it requires a ridiculous amount of work to run a league and most people don't want to spend their free time doing this for free. Putting a website is probably the easiest part. Doing a paying league and what not takes legal knowledge, dealing with cheaters/anticheat is going to be the biggest problem, and then you've got to have the admins spending 10 hours a week fixing problems that come up and avoiding admin bias (ugc anyone).
Which is why the community needs to step up to help create the best league possible. I'm willing to step up, and to help this get done. I just need the support of the community.
phAZEI think at this point it would be best to go with the UGC option rather than the etf2l option. We just need to establish a solid foundation for a pay to play 6s league with proper divisions and people running the league etc.
I completely agree with the solid foundation. If my proposed league does happen, then the admins would consist of people who are very active within the TF2 community. The people who help make this all happen.
z4chIARENOBODYI'm forming a team of players to try and make a new league. Anyone else who wants to join can do so. So far I have just 2 people. One of them is my friend, who is a web developer, and of course myself. If anyone has knowledge of website design, or programming, add me. I'm trying to recruit Lange, Blindsight, Roman Anderson and anyone else who is willing to help. I believe Alfunkso will help with some of the programming. Right now the plan is to create a league with a pug system, better stats, and server support. The proposed league wouldn't be free, but that's only because we need a way to have a prize pot, and a way of paying the people who put time into it.
I don't know if this was what you're looking for, but if you need a league admin or something that doesn't require coding experience, I'll volunteer.
If it does happen the selection of admins would be made based on applications submitted.

If anyone is interested in making a new league, I'm down to help with graphics and website design.
SnookiSo what is the average skill level in these games?
You can make requirements, and private ones. It can be integrated into irc by the looks of it.
ckapIARENOBODYhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/qzcsduwsrlbt7vt/Idea.pngsupporting one particular system, be it either tf2.gg or tf2center.com, would basically annihilate competition. it's better to keep tf.tv seperate from the lobby systems.
Please explain... Also I just installed Adblock, and didn't turn it off yet for tf tv. It's turned off now.
