after wednesdays update ive noticed lower frames. upon playing tonight i get a stutter/warping issue regardless of my ping or server location. any ideas?

invite players retire, new players move to invite. i really doubt one team will continue to stomp invite for long. its only a matter of time before people get bored and move on to a new game, give competitive tf2 a break, or make an alt and play in open/highlander. as for tf2 dying... i think the people who are competing against top invite teams have a little more integrity and faith in the game than you do, that is to say, they are close to the top spot and want to get there so they are going to keep playing and beat their competition, even if it seems unlikely.

camping in middle of nowhere Texas at this weekend festival, a brown recluse spider was spotted on the outside of one of our tents.

standing at the edge of the grand canyon. probably not very "dangerous" but it feels very unsettling.

idk none of these are super dangerous, just made me feel uneasy. there was one time in the 1st grade when i was walking with scissors, pointed side up, and i tripped on the leg of a desk. the scissors passed my face nearly an inch from my eye. similar incident around the same age where i was carrying a screwdriver (also pointed side up because im an idiot) and tripped walking up my front porch. the tip of the screwdriver went right up my nose and gave me a good cut, luckily didnt go too far up but that was probably the scariest injury ive sustained.

played with him for a bit, hes solid on scout. comms a little quiet but hes aware of that so i wouldnt be worried, im sure he will speak up more. also, we share a birthday, so hes cool.

you never really have to tell anybody your age in the first place, do you? as long as you arent annoying, rude, immature, etc, i dont see why anyone would have a problem playing with you. this holds true for people of all ages.

the voice thing is negligible; if you sound young, prepubescent, girly, anything... who cares? if you can speak clearly and your team mates understand what youre saying, thats all that really matters.

rainman is really fun to play with, hes a smart player and has some really impressive rockets. i could see him making playoffs in s19 with the right people.

Dunno if someone already asked this, but is there a way to get just the transparent viewmodel? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought someone had introduced the idea way back when, and it was concluded that it was illegal? Something about conflicting with sv_pure options.

I've noticed that while I may play well during scrims, my damage numbers are low. I main Demo, and I'm wondering if there is anything specific I should be doing at midfights that will increase my damage output. I tend to hang back and play more passively, and it seems to work. However, I want to make sure I have the ability to get aggressive and make the most of my presence during offensive pushes. I've heard that a recent update to stickies has caused significant reduction of their power. While I acknowledge the changes, I am not one to complain and use the "sticky nerf" as an excuse for not dishing out enough damage. I feel like my shortcomings are a result of other gameplay mechanics, such as positioning, where to focus my fire, and who I should primarily be engaging.

If there are any confident Demomen reading who would like to give me some advice, please feel free to add me. I could use a chat with a more skilled player.
