Blackdottnote: entry is 21+
I remember reading on reddit a few weeks back something about it being all ages until a certain time or something like that, did they get rid of that?
I was part of a pub community back in 2010-11 that had a small group of people who tried to start a comp team there, and eventually i got interested in it, and even though i didn't play for them i met some people through them that got me on a team (which died) and then onto a new team.
Ironically enough the pub community was chill as fuck until everyone got interested in comp, then the servers were no longer about playing the game to have fun, everyone was "training" for their match. not even joking, a highlander player on there once attempted to tell me i was playing the game wrong for not using stock everything. rofl
the entirety of the anime people
I've never gotten a solid answer, but what do longboarders think of boards like these:
http://tailtap.com/images/new_alva_complete.jpg
I bought one a while back because i needed a way to get around to places that weren't worth driving to and my old board is deep in the grave right now and i'm probably the worst skater on the planet so a regular board wouldn't be worth the money
atiderethanks for all the advice, my coach is my history teacher and hes taught me most of the basics, and my dad use to play water polo but hes been out of town for a week. unfortunately my assistant coach sucks.
Your coach's name wouldn't happen to be Brian would it?
Despite Wari's map, guv is pretty good at this game. I haven't been on a team with him (as a starter at least) but from what I hear him talk about and how he talks about it, he's dedicated to the game and getting everyone together to scrim. He doesn't really like playing things by ear, and is super good at planning scrims, not to mention he knows a shit ton of people, so definitely pick him up if you want to be serious about practicing.
He also pays for the mumble i hang out in which is pretty awesome. just don't play league in the same channel as him
For cs go, lets say I'm trying to record from an stv. I think its the spectator setup that screws things up and i can either never move the camera, find the person I'm trying to spec, or record. Any ideas?
kinda off topic but I remember there being a water polo thread a few years ago when I was a freshman/sophomore, i don't remember, and listening to all the advice everyone gave. I'm now a senior.
Kinda crazy to think about then and now and how stuff has changed
Anyways, if you really want to play, just know that no matter where you play you're gonna get fucked up. Doesn't matter if its a game or practice but at the end of the day something is going to hurt, whether its from getting hit, pulling something, or just getting worked really hard. The worst injury I've ever seen actually came during a practice. The same can be said about every sport yeah, but being in the water is different, because if you aren't used to it, it'll wear you out a lot faster. The best thing you can do is literally just swimming. Don't go to the slower lanes, find the middle ground and try to stay caught up with them. After a few weeks you can start pushing yourself and moving to faster lanes.
I think I'm gonna hold off on putting any money towards this for now but I'll definitely keep it on my radar. This and Reflex look like they have a lot of potential.
-Mike-If you look under help>keyboard shortcuts or w/e the keys aren't mapped I don't think.
Disabling third person features gave me some control on the arrow keys and a and d, not sure why though
