TwiiKuufrknyou should actually bind m1 to multiply your sensitivity by a random factor from 0.01-2 so it changes to something new every shot
getting good at every sens is the only way to be number 1
If by random you meant pseudo-random, I could do write that script.
I would very much like to try this out, if you'd post that on here!
Played against six spies on mid yesterday
Oblivionagerun hwmonitor and check during the fps drop to see ur temps. I have that cpu i recently put on some good thermal paste it doesn't ever go past 55C and i don't experience drops.
That's what I used to check temperature, it stays around 57-60 during the fps drops, so it wouldn't seem to be temperature related.
Also @raiku I defragged my C: drive and the fps drops are still ocurring
cookieit could be your graphics card overheating?
I thought that too, but the temperature stays constant during the FPS drops
Droodl3Have you set the priority on the task manager for tf2 to anything different from normal?
I've not changed anything, to my understanding. A while back i rolled my drivers back to be able to run in dx8 without flashing, but lagging didn't start until later. regardless, when switching back to dx9 with the latest drivers, the problem has not been resolved
Out of interest, what would changing the priority affect? I could try changing that to see if it fixes it perhaps.
raikuMaybe you have some other weird program that's making this happen ?
Also what is your CPU, GPU?
This also occurs when I've closed every program but tf2. Also specs in image below.
Recently (in the past week or so), my tf2 has started getting periodic frame drops to around 2fps (I can pretty much expect to get this at least once per half hour game). These frame drops last around 1-2 minutes, then everything settles down and I get my standard fps
Would any of you have any idea of what the problem might be?
extra details that may be useful:
-cpu and gpu temperature stay normal
-cpu usage goes up to around 98% during fps drops (from around 40)
-gpu usage drops down to 2-8%
-when I alt tab out, everything else lags too
Completely unrelated, but out of interest, how is it that my configs in the cfg folder remained completely fine after the steampipe conversion while it didn't work for others? None of my config is in the custom folder yet works absolutely fine.
CarboNwhy doesn't someone just fucking ask relic.
pretty much this
I've not got a great collection of demos with my new team, but I reckon I'll throw you an add for the future, if that's cool with you!
Look really nice, I'd love to see this on the next rotation, especially if the splash problems are fixed, and if not, just for the change of scenery
DunderBroIm sorry if this is a dumb question, I want to edit my crosshair and I read the little FAQ, it sais that I should open scripts/hudlayout.res but I cant because I dont think I have the right program, nothing happens when I open the file.
You can just rename it to .txt and then save as .res as all files
HRG 4 lyf! (or at least until lansky leaves <3)
I've put the hitsound in what seems like the right place yet I'm still getting the default one. Any help?
Oh wow that photography is awesome! Looks like I have a new desktop wallpaper...
