So, how do I edit the backpack? I figured out how to edit some parts of it but I can't figure out how to edit this (http://i.imgur.com/ytLBaK1.png) and the stats screen. Can anyone help me out?

ZetosJackal176Does anyone know what the file for the medic's shield in Mann vs Machine is called? It's HUDItemEffectMeter_Heavy.res, shared with the heavy's rage meter.
Thanks a lot!
Does anyone know what the file for the medic's shield in Mann vs Machine is called?
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but is it possible to rotate elements within a hud? For example I have a square, can I rotate it say 45 degrees for example? Or will I have to find workarounds?
Is there any way to remove the white square that appears over a control point when someone is capping it? Here's a picture to get a better understanding of what I mean, in case I wasn't clear: http://i.imgur.com/dsTtDcy.png
KonceptJackal176Apologies if this has already been answered here before, but I've been trying to make a custom HUD for some time now, and while I was trying to update it for Meet Your Match, I noticed that the SpectatorTargetID would be in the wrong place (not above the target's head) or not present at all. I tried messing around with the SpectatorGuiHealth.res file, I even deleted it and started it from scratch but the issue is still there. Can anyone help me?

It looks like you have floating health numbers disabled
tf_hud_target_id_disable_floating_health 0 should be the command to replace the value above the player's head. Then you can go and edit the file to your liking.
Sorry for the late reply, I kind of forgot I asked a question here. I tried what you said but the problem is still there. I tried to take some pictures again and what happens from what I understand is the health value above teammates moves from ontop of their head to a certain position on the screen, depending on where you are standing on the map and how you look at the target. Sometimes it's not there at all. I took some more pictures to try and showcase this a bit better http://imgur.com/a/m7dBJ

Rhymirdecided to edit notohud a bit
Looks really nice man!
lavanineHow can I bring the health cross from Eve hud into my current hud? I searched through hudlayout.res and cant find anything involving the cross.
The health cross has it's own file. It's called hudplayerhealth.res
Sooo, I need help...again. So a friend of mine asked me for an "alpha" version of a hud I am working on and this happened: https://gyazo.com/3af5003514bbd591b78f21d992cc62f9 Is this a TF2 Bug? Or is my Hud broken? Also, a custom font I installed which works fine on my computer: http://imgur.com/ybDSkcl doesn't work on my friend's computer: https://gyazo.com/34b51e40d412d37be2ae4a95b865a480 If it is necessary I could link my hud. Just ask!
omniAre they being affected by if_competitive?
I don't think so but just FYI I think I may have found a workaround. Thanks for trying to help though! :)
So, some elements on my main menu are stuck ontop of each other and no matted what I change the ypos to they don't move: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/267212139238948607/382F50AB0AAC6A320F8A473CB0BCF05C59406291/ Is there anything I can do?
sAvenForgive me if this was asked before, but I just don't feel like going through 100 pages of questions and answers to find what I'm looking for. So here's my problem. For most of the huds I've tried, the health/ammo numbers that change colors, based on amount of ammo/health remaining, don't reset to the default color (neither overhealed nor severely damaged). Is this a hud bug or a game bug? If it's a hud bug, can somebody tell me how to fix it? ty
I am not sure if my answer is 100% correct but it's a game bug as far as I know. What basically happens is that the game keeps the last color for the health/ammo values since the last time you died and that's why you see the overhealed/damaged colors instead of the normal ones sometimes. Doing a hud_reloadscheme should fix this bug.
Is it possible to add more background footers? For example I take the background footer lines copy paste them and then have another "box" to play around with. Is that possible?
arilthis is what i have for my guis and my scoreboard. no idea if i'm going to release this considering there's so many bugs i have to work on and the only resolution i tested it on was 1920x1080 but this is what i have so far.

the health and ammo will change, it is there for now because I don't know a good font to replace it with. it will 100% change though.
a lot of the menus in this are inspired by a lot of modifications posted in this thread as well. i'm a big fan of riethud, broeselhud, and flathud so some of the stuff in here is close to what you see in those huds. also, i really liked waves UI by extracrispy so you might see a resemblance in some of the things i have added as well. hopefully there isn't too much of a resemblance though.
feedback would be cool, i'm kind of new to the hud editing scene and i don't 100% know what's been repeated millions of times.
Dude, this looks awesome! Looking forward to more updates!
