Wow, this was a very interesting watch. I've never touched DOTA, but the way they showed the plays made them seem as fantastic as the probably were live.
Also, damn, I was aware that China had scary competitive teams, but not that scary.

I love Dim Sum not just because of what it is, but because I've had a lot of good times with family both at home and in Hong Kong.
I'm not totally digging the vocals, though they lyrics are interesting. Reminds me of the style of music I listened to more a few years ago, but I feel like my tastes have shifted.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYU47cfNayA0 The bass in the middle of the song massages my brain in the right way. The music video is also pretty cool.
KaeyelI can't get the 28th or the 31st off from work ;-;
Curse you, end of fiscal year.
Nooooooo you're in my row. :(
[If you still aren't able to go, I'm looking for another ticket for a friend of mine.]
eXtineNo responses to my post in the LANFest forums... I'm looking for two, one for me and one for dummy.
If you're thinking of doing casting stuff there, you may want to look into this: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/186ipQ9erzTMl1hMLXRcp8xm5X4RGg6XpFJQeTeOEWfE/viewform I think the event needs casters or something, don't know if you need a pre-purchased ticket though. Might be a way to get around that?
This sounds really cool! I wouldn't mind chipping in or anything even if I decide not to compete. I also wouldn't mind helping with some prize stuff depending if you guys want anything.
insomYo what's with the tournament time?
From their facebook, on Antwan's comment:
Sacramento LANFest: If you want to play in the TF2 tournament make sure to get to the event first thing at 6pm. It will be tight if you come any later. The registration line is planned to move super fast, so the staff will help you get in fast. We have a very full schedule, and we need to run TF2 Friday night in order to include TF2 in the event.
:(
Damn... I have to find my Sapphire cartridge now. I just got back into playing Pokemon a week ago since I got a new 3DS and man, did I miss it. Thanks for the nostalgia trip.
Looks like the schedule is up! https://lanfest.intel.com/events/sacramento-spring-2014/schedule
TF2 is the first event, it seems.
I'm curious, where is everyone booking their hotel rooms? The website listed the La Quinta at $54 per night [before tax] but it's a little further away than the event versus the Hilton Garden Inn which is like down the road.
I'd like to know because I need to party it up that weekend.
Go join! Griff is a cool dude and has a nice voice.
tomroadrunnerGarda and I will be in charge of providing authentic bear hugs for the weekend, I also still owe mana a drink at some point.
I will count on big bear hugs from you both.
Seat K16, I'll be the little girl who wants to be picked up.
