TrotimnarfEUROS STILL FUCKED #USA #PRICEDISCRIMINATIONYa 400 USD is like 300€, not 400€. Huge difference
Maybe wrong here, but I thought in the US the sales tax is not included in the price, whereas EU has a big VAT already included.

thrasheryeah seems like fatal1ty won 29-0, at least according to that quote on his facebook page. unless there was a 2nd PK thing he did?
I'm not sure. The quote is: "This was just after playing TTeSport pro in CS & PK."
So I wonder
Why would he refer to relic as "TTeSport pro"?
Why did they play CS? I guess relic might have some history in that game?
Scoffer_forksif you fix the splash problems or whatever on the traintracks at mid then i'm all for it
Will speak to him about it, might not be possible but will give it a try
I think it can be fixed, at least partially.
By using a tool brush, like the invisible barrier one, and putting a wedge of it inside the corner which is causing the explosion to shear off.
When I first heard about this, I imagined a system whereby people would use a menu in TF2 to indicate their item preferences in advance. Perhaps by allowing you to select a certain number of weapons from a list of non-core unlocks (to avoid banning important items), which you may wish to ban.
Then when a lobby is created, the preferences of each player are automatically analysed and any weapons with more than x amount of votes are banned. That way there is no need for a long vote process to take place every game.
What do you think are the disadvantages of this?
It happens to me, but I assumed it was a 'feature' to save bandwidth.
useofDid you write this with LaTeX? It looks great.
Yes, thanks, and inkscape for diagrams.
I would have used something else to avoid the 'college paper' comments, but I just reformatted and LaTeX was all I had.
I agree it's not that easy to read and barely anyone will, but it's more a reference that people might want to refer back to if they ever wonder about this. I'll be updating it to make it clearer.
I added the two main points to the OP.
I made a guide explaining FOV in TF2 and what it really depends on. As you may know, the fov_desired setting is not your actual horizontal FOV. Everything past the first page is just math(s), feel free to ignore.
The guide is in pdf form here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IO03oeEWPixq9YvplILx_REm2MoT-gGA/view
The purpose of the guide is just to give information, as the FOV debate is still raging as we unfortunately saw yesterday in ETF2L.
If you've got any questions/corrections, I'm happy to hear them. I know it's not easy to read but I will try and update it.
The main information is basically:
- 16:9 monitor = 106 horizontal FOV
- Valve's way of calculating FOV is a bit strange and used to offer pretty much unlimited horizontal FOVs. I've been told they have added a hard cap to FOV recently, so I've updated the guide to say that.
Seeing the title of the reddit post makes me sad.
It's called Xbox One because when you see it you turn one pi radians and walk away.
ksh0tDrewIt's very easy. Do you have a graphics card in mind? Higher end cards require 1 or 2 additional connections from the PSU.Anything that will let me run at more than 20 fps during dm fights
If your FPS is that bad, then it might be that no graphics card can save you.
What's your system specs at the moment?
pine_beetleWhy is it only one year?
I assume that if it's permanent, there's no incentive not to try and get away with a new account.
atmobroder players are pinging ~100 to the NY server that will be used
I'll believe it when I see it.
manaThis time around all the pings are very good, so I'm incredibly confident that the matches this time around are going to be much more determined by skill and less ping differences.
That's interesting. I assumed with the location of the broder players that any US server would be terrible for them. Did you find a better EU server for HRG?
So I assume there was no formal application procedure in place for the i49 contract? There has never been competition before, so it's not surprising.
If so, you can't blame TFTV for taking the initiative and submitting the proposal. If the contract was reserved for Vanilla, it would be irrelevant anyway, and if it's open to applications then it's fair that TFTV submit a bid. There's no reason why they should be expected to compromise.
I think this drama is fuelled by the fact there is not enough talent (in terms of both tech/streaming and casting) to go around, which is not a good reflection on TF2.
