sporadic had players that were actually IM level and beat both the bad sandbag teams. One of which won IM twice and the other one had former invite players. Trip was the only invite level player on sporadic and only agreed to play IM nothing else. Don't get me wrong I like the new rule but it couldn't have come at a worse time.

Look this system is garbage when it comes to having a good quality pug.

Pros:
Faceit has rewards
Faceit is a well-recognized website so many new players can use it
Pugs do not start after 20 years because some retard decides to do something right after picking.
ELO- this is neutral for some but for me I enjoy it.
Choice of a Dallas or Chicago server

Cons:
First Pick is way better than the second pick.
No one wants to captain
12 people pool makes it so you can get stuck with players who are bad and can't play anything but their main. no offense to anyone but if you see a pug and think oh me being on this class could be bad do not play it.
ELO is in these pugs yet a first pick will have to play med if he/she gets in late if there are no med mains. Once again let this one sink in if the player who is late is better than you get off his class and play med if you know it would make the pug a win or easier. I am actually amazed people think pug medic is hard a monkey could play med do not make an invite player play med because " I can't play med I am bad at it" terrible excuse.
No class selection so HAIYAKU! (Hurry* sorry im fluent in Japanese) into the server else you get cucked onto a class you do not wanna play or can't.
No Fatkids- I know people remember pugchamp and never being picked but everyone used to be that guy that sits there hoping to get picked. It is probably the reason pugs had any substance at all you have to make a name for yourself and prove yourself to get picked. Now it is just as easy as pressing play fuck off.

There are rarely any good pugs. I think I've heard this phrase about 100 times " This player would never be in the same pug as me". One team is way better than another team for the majority of pugs played before and after you factor in no class selection.
Invite players started to play less because they do not want an aneurysm playing with what Aim has bestowed onto the truly chosen the term SPED. I know people are learning shit I know I still am, but you reach a point where OHHHHH this site has ELO and you have a player being terrible not trying to get help from others/ talking. Or playing a class they are bad at or just feeding or throwing. I think we all want to have fun but is it really viable when you have people who are trying to win and others are just lucky enough to be in the same pug with invite players but they are not trying to be less of a detriment. PunOko.

Tbh I'd actually look at pugs and see who is playing then proceed to look up Anime/Hentai umm I mean art and close my Faceit tab in my browser.

So, in the end, there are way more cons than pros.
I am even willing to play these pugs every day for a month if they happen that much and stream to prove how aids it truly is. Im serious if people want to see why no one likes to play faceit anymore I will put myself through any pug does not matter how bad it seems and captain.
