ganja_plant connected to the REALTourney mumble to play in the last few rounds of the 2v2 MGE Tourney with an IP that matched that of another Bullet alt. He denies being a bullet alt and got aggressive when confronted about it.
He was kicked from the tourney and will be banned from future REAL events unless some new evidence pops up. Just a heads up.
back in my day my mom told me when i was getting a haircut
not the esports forums
I'll send out a poll for all the leaders about maplist before the event starts. I'll take pretty much anything into consideration.
Also, keep in mind that we'll probably be starting in some sort of group-stage, round-robin type format, so everyone will get a chance to play at least 4 or 5 games.
I'll probably be signing up with a pug team just to play some of these great maps again, and I'd recommend you to as well!
SpaceCadetWhat is the buy-in per team?
edit: sorry I just read that your posting it later.
sorry i actually meant to include that in the post. Added it just now. It's 6 keys.
holy shit that was fast

Ah, the sweet, sweet smell of nostalgia. Riding off of very successful MGE and Ultiduo Tournaments, REALTourney is ready to do something a bit out of the norm. I personally miss the maps that I played as I was introduced to competitive back in 2012, and I think it's a shame that no one plays them anymore. So, let's do something new... by playing something old!
Behold: The REAL(ly dead map) 6v6 Tournament
http://i.imgur.com/jeNI2mu.png
Matches will be played on Tuesdays at 10:00est, so don't sign up if you can't make that time. Signups will close on April 17th, and the first matches will be on April 21st.
All configs and whitelists and rulesets will be consistent with that of ESEA.
You must have league experience to participate. I hate to do this, but it makes dealing with hackers/ alts much much easier. This experience can be UGC, ESEA, or ETF2L (or any other significantly sized league).
Buy in is 6 keys per team.

Detailed rules/ prizepot info will be posted soon. Prizepot will basically be the buy in keys + whatever else I can find. Wooo!
Edit: also, there will not be a limit to the number of teams participating aside from the challonge limit of 256, so yeah.
Thanks to everyone who played in the tourney! Here are the results:
There are a few ways for people to look at it.
1) the more things it goes through (ei donor's paypal to your PayPal through imraising to your credit card to the charity), the more fees that will be involved. People want to donate to charity, not to paypal or imraising.
2) some people will will totally trust you, but not everyone will. If you put the donation straight to the charity, more people will donate.
Most charities do have a paypal donation email even if they say it isn't listed. Have you called/ emailed the charities about it?
Hype!!
The event is starting at 7 est. If you don't have the mumble info yet, message me on tftv or steam and I'll send it. You must be in mumble for this event. You must record demos for this event.
I've done three 24 hour charity streams on my channel before. Any time someone donates $50 or more, I run around my house with Skype mobile screen regioned on the stream.
Always gets a good laugh + helps me stay awake + gives my eyes a much needed break + more money for St. Jude!
Also eat healthy or you will hate yourself right around hour 18.
you do realize that's the opposite of an okay thing to do, right?
no one cares if it was you who took the picture rofl
The fact that anyone with access to the admin panel (script kiddie or otherwise) has access to unhashed passwords is pretty terrifying. I almost changed my randomly generated password of my UGC account to one of my normal passwords a while back, and now I'm really glad I didn't.
